    8:30-9:00 P.M. "THE GAME"

Returning for its third season, THE GAME is a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of the wives and girlfriends of pro-football players. This comedy tackles the way these women deal with egos, groupies and image consultants and shows how THE GAME is really played among the women behind the athletes. The series stars Tia Mowry ("Sister, Sister") as Melanie Barnett, Coby Bell ("Third Watch") as Jason Pitts, Pooch Hall ("Miracle's Boys") as Derwin Davis, Hosea Chanchez ("For Your Love") as Malik Wright, Brittany Daniel ("White Chicks") as Kelly Pitts and Wendy Raquel Robinson ("The Steve Harvey Show") as Tasha Mack. THE GAME is a production of Happy Camper Productions and Grammnet Productions in association with CBS Paramount Network Television. Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier," "Girlfriends"), creator Mara Brock Akil ("Girlfriends," "Moesha," "The Jamie Foxx Show") and Steve Stark serve as executive producers.

They trying to make this show fall fast. They know most people aren't home on Friday nights. Who is calling these shots? I think they need to bring back UPN, since they can't seem to find a place for the African American shows.

    exactly.
the upn/wb merge really messed up Black comedy shows. The Game and EHC are the only black shows left.

I love this show and i just honestly don't understand why a show this good has no support. I mean from the network and from US. Please get the word out to watch this show because i will be so sad if it goes. Friday's why?

I don't mind it being on Friday nights. Infact, in another post about the show's rating, I had just asked why they don't consider putting it on Fri nights instead of the dumb wrestling. Fri night on the CW is boring as hell, so I think it is a great idea for those of us who choose to go out on Sat nights instead.

According to some reports, they've sold their rights to Sunday to an outside media group.

Would u stay in on Fri to watch? I dont think Fri is a good day.

Wrestling brings in really good ratings actually. I was surprised but ppl really like it even though it is fake.

Tuesday it will get killed. SVU is on ( which I love & watch ) as well as US Idol .

Yes, I would. As I previously stated, I wanted it to be on Fri instead since there is nothing appealing on regular TV on a Fri night. All of my friends who I go out with on the weekends watch the Game. So it wouldn't hurt my social life. Plus, here in NYC, we don't leave the house until after 10 anyway.

Glad it's back but they probably moved it from Sunday because it failed compared to when it used to be on Monday.

Moving it to Fridays is a mistake.
Thats when most people go out is on Friday nights. I don't think moving it to Fridays will help its ratings.

O ok. Well I hope all of NY watches then & boosts rating. I think ratings will be worse. TG was bareley getting 1mill viewers on sundays @ 9pm. So now I think its gonna drop to like 800,000k.

TG is gonna be cancelled next yr unless the ratings soar, & I doubt they will.

SIGH. Y THE HELL WONT MARA & SELIM & KELSEY STAND UP TO DAW/CW?

I seriously think that the CW just wants to get rid of all the black shows. Seriously.
Girlfriends got cheated out of their finale, right?

The Game may be the CW's #1 comedy show, but this is the 3rd time they're moving this show.

Yea. it wouldn't be a problem over here. However- this is for everyone. Abandon the thoughts that the CW is trying to rid itself of the black shows. Apparently, the CW is failing miserably and one of their head honchos may have to leave. Shows like Gossip girls, and Supernatural are also skimping by with 2 million viewers or less . They had a 28 percent drop of targeted audience within the season. 18-34. It seems like after merging UPN with CW , everything went to pots. I read this in an article on Sidereel.com

Putting it on Friday nights is insulting. The CW has no respect for this show and I think that they put it on Friday's as an excuse to cancel to, Obviously the rating are gonna slip.
