The local thieves actually remove the engine from the school bus Ralph signed out, and they do it in the middle of the desert. To make things even more ridiculous, the class puts it back in! (edit) In the last scene, everybody gives their gold to Harliken (Bill's old FBI partner), who lives in a trailer and is nearly blind. (edit) Ralph is clearly wearing the suit under his Boy Scout uniform, and nobody says a word. Even Bill asks him if he has it on when it is easily visible. (edit)
