- In the establishing shot of the "agents" driving David into the desert and later as they turn off the road, the scenery consists of low lying scrub with mountains in the distance. In between those two shots,as we see a closeup shot of David and the others in the car, the scenery shown through the rear window is different. Now the desert has tall vegetation, called Joshua Trees, and the distant mountains are now much closer. edit »
