Show Summary

The Jim Bakker Show is a syndicated show, but can be seen online via The Miracle Channel Streaming Broadcast at 2AM EDT Monday through Friday. The Jim Bakker Show can also be seen online via CTN Online at 2PM EDT Monday through Friday. Also on StreamingFaith.com you can watch TheMore Jim Bakker Show at 3:00PM EDT on TCT Network. That's three times to watch the show online, if you don't receive the show in your local area.

Exactly sixteen years from his last broadcast from Heritage USA Jim Bakker is back on the air. Although Jim didn't plan on coming back to the air, he was encouraged through some friends and he's on again.

The Jim Bakker Show features teachings from Jim Bakker, music, and discussions with some Christian authors and other pastors.

If you don't think too highly of Jim Bakker, I suggest reading his book I Was Wrong.

  • New MorningSide Area

Has anyone been able to receive any information on the new MorningSide which is being built. Jim mentioned that the area might be open sometime in 2006, but other than that he hasn't mentioned it much.

my personal experience... you truely are a blessed man. hide show

Today, 6-9-2008 I watched your show for the first time. Jim said, "religion kills". I can't agree more. Jim, is the only man of cloth, who made me feel like a human, special and precious, even after I chose to end a life. You gave me insight to my own life and insecurities, and blessed me. In my hour of DESPAIR, I needed Jesus, AND through your words, I know he was there, holding my hand the entire time, wiping my tears away. I know how it feels to be condemned; kicked when I'm down, but Jesus never fails. Anti-abortionist activists make it so incredibly hard to walk out of the facility, not feeling completely ashamed and HELL bound . With their harsh words, and complete isolation from Jesus, I felt satan at his best. I will actively pray for their forgiveness and knowledge of God's true love. I, since then forgave myself, and thank Jesus everyday for HIS forgiveness and mercy. I just question the hearts of those whom slaughter the hopeless and tried to quench my light. God bless you and your family in Jesus name! I'll see you in heaven! You really changed something in me. The guilt is gone. Thank you for explaining god's unconditional love.

The Jim Bakker Show is far different from The Jim Bakker Show of the 70's and 80's. Jim's back, and he's a humble, tell it like it is type of person. He'll teach to you the Bible, not the message of give to his ministry and become wealthy. hide show

"Oh no...Here's Jim Bakker again telling us how if we donate to him we'll get rich, but really we're just making him rich." That's generally what the average person might think, but that's not true. The Jim Bakker of today is more humble, and actually has studied the Bible. Jim is far from living the life that he used to live, and has a new wife Lori Bakker. Jim and Lori have adopted six kids, and I believe that the oldest of the kids that they adopted, Mondo, directs the show.

Jim and Lori both do a fine job hosting the show, and they are both very "real" people. Jim teaches about the end times, and about how he was wrong in his teachings that he taught while he was at Heritage USA (PTL). I enjoy hearing the musical guests that come on the program. I also enjoy seeing some of the local guests (from Branson) that come on the program. All of the guests have great talent whether it comes to singing, acting, or teaching the Bible.

Going back to my opening statement; I used to think that way. Then I read Jim's book titled, I Was Wrong. Jim's book detailed his fall from PTL, his prison life, and his life after prison. His book also details the time after he was released from prison and went back to Heritage USA to speak at Uncle Henry's funeral. I truly believe that he is genuinely sorry for all that happened in the past, and he just wants to move on with his life.

All in all, if you've got an hour to spend The Jim Bakker Show is a decent show. You might have a few laughs, or just enjoy reading and studying the Bible. This show is actually one that will give you the facts, instead of telling you what you want to hear. That, in my opinion, is hard to find in Christian programs today.
