Time Magazine has just named The Office (both the US and UK versions) as two of the 100 BEST TV SHOWS OF ALL-TIME!!!

99% of that list is all american TV shows they telling me sanford and son is better then steptoe and son

It's totally nitpicking, but 99% out of 100 shows would mean only 1 show is not American, and there are at least a few others in there.
I agree that this list is probably pretty biased towards the US, but to defend the abundance of American entries the sheer volume of American produced TV comes into play. If you figure that only 1% of tv is "great" then regardless of country of origin the US will have more entries the the UK or Canada. Kind of like the Olympics. The US aren't necessarily better athletes then the UK, but when taking only the top 1% of world athletes the US fields more entries based on a much larger population

Plus the fact it's a US magazine. And the single author openly claims it's a matter of opinion, so it's not as if they brought in a panel of international experts.
