The arrival of some VIPs from the planet Zanti is complicated by the intrusion of outsiders. Control Voice: (opening narration) Throughout history compassionate minds have pondered this dark and disturbing question: what is society to do with those members who are a threat to society, those malcontents and misfits whose behavior undermines and destroys the foundations of civilization? Different ages have found different answers. Misfits have been burned, branded and banished. Today on this planet earth the criminal incarcerated in humane institutions or he is executed. Other planets use other methods. This is the story of how the perfectionist rulers of the planet Zanti attempted to solve the problem of the Zanti misfits. (edit)
Control Voice: (closing narration) Throughout history various societies have tried various methods of exterminating those members who have proven their inability or unwillingness to live sanely amongst their fellow men. The Zantis tried merely one more method neither better, nor worse than all of the others, neither more human, nor less human than all others, perhaps merely non-human. (edit)

Trivia

Around 44-45 minutes into the story when the Zanti ship has landed on the roof, we see several shots of Zanti's going out the open door of the ship. There is a piece of broken wood by the door. Sometimes the wood is on the left side of the door, and sometimes it's to the right. It would appear that budget had forced a flipping over of the film to make it look as if the ship is being shot from another angle rather then use more stop animation. (edit)
When Ben approaches the door of the Zanti spaceship, it pops open and a Zanti (which resembles an ant with a more or less human face)is perched on the open door. Ben jumps back and falls into a rock crevasse then see the creature follow him and attack him in the crevasse. Later, in at least two close-ups of the ship, the Zanti is still perched on the open door. (edit)
