The Paper Chase: War Of The Wonks (aka Machine)

A minor incident which takes place between Golden and an engineering student about a parking space escalates to hostilities between the law students and the engineering students, also affectionately known as "Wonks" as they are called on campus.

The problem starts when Golden has a Wonk's car, illegally parked, towed and impounded, which causes the Wonks to retaliate by moving Golden's car into the Law Review office, which just happens to be in the Law School basement.

To make tensions even higher, an existing romance between a law student and a Wonk becomes strained as a result of the conflict.

The whole matter is finally settled by a contest of legal knowledge between Kingsfield and one of the engineering department's computers.
