  • Notice that there is a sign with 'Cowley's of Windsor' written on the side of a small blue van during the scenes where the lads are sitting in the Rover deciding how to tackle the villains! edit »
  • Bodie easily slips into the disguise of Dr Brook, but you'd think that the villains would at least know what their potential victim looked like! edit »
  • During the scenes at the police station, notice that the blue Triumph parked next to Cowley's Rover appears to be move around of its own accord! edit »
  • The scenes where Bodie expertly removes the grenade by cutting Nurse Bolding's bra off were edited when this episode was broadcast on Granada Plus. edit »
  • Actor Johnny Shannon (Charley) is actually wearing a toupee and his voice is being dubbed by another actor! edit »
  • Apparently LWT ordered the final scenes to be shot three times as they weren't happy with the outcome, although writer Brian Clemens himself wasn't happy with the end result! (You just can't please anyone these days.) edit »
  • For those of you who have seen only the Granada Plus transmission of this episode, you would have missed out on Bodie's "Brave old bastard!" observation of Cowley, which was edited out of the broadcast episode. edit »
  • This was actually the first episode to be filmed, but ended up only third in the transmission order. edit »
  • Cowley: Did you have to lean on him?
Bodie: Too scared. All we did was stimulate his imagination a bit.
Cowley: Even if you did break all the rules.
    Doyle: Broke the rules.
Bodie: Oh, you know the form - dog eat dog.
Doyle: Well, that's okay. Long as you're not a dog. edit »
  • Cowley: One shot - and your brother won't have anywhere to put his hat. edit »
  • Bodie: Permission to be admiringly insolent, sir. You're a brave old bastard.
Cowley: Permission denied. Anyway, it's inaccurate - I'm not brave. edit »
  • Billy: I want to see my lawyer.
Bodie: Why, son? Do you want to make a will? edit »
  • Bodie: These art classes you used to go to - the life classes. You mean to say it didn't disturb you anywhere at all? You'd have to be crotchless.
    Doyle: They were just models.
Bodie: Bet if a bird posed nude with an apple you painted the apple.
Doyle: No, they were nice girls.
Bodie: All girls are nice girls. Long as they're under fifty, still warm and come across. edit »
