Oscar getting zapped into the TV and becoming part of the programs is a cliche from the Twilight Zone
(edit)
Penny: Life is a cool breeze on a hot summer night. Or a hug from your mom that feels just right. Life is fun like playing in the sun. Life is real, you know the deal. Enjoy every minute don't let it pass you by, because life is a gift. So you better, fly high.
(edit)
Oscar: Do you know what the other side of the door is?
(edit)
Penny: That's what friends are for.
(edit)
Penny: Uh, first of all their's no we, just me.
(edit)
Dijonay: Rip rip ree, kick em' in the knee! Rip rip rass, kick him in the...other knee!
(edit)
Visitor walking through the front door in the opening credits: Peabo.
(edit)
When Dijonay is reciting her first poem Sticky is in a black outfit but in the next shot he is in his normal outfit then in the next shot he's in the black outfit again.
(edit)
At the end, Penny told Dijonay she could flow and not a lot of people could do that. But in the beginning Dijonay told Penny she could flow. When Penny said that to Dijonay, she made it sound like she couldn't do that, but obviously she can if she accepted the compliment Dijonay gave her rather than being modest.
(edit)
When Dijonay was reciting her 1st poem, she said she had 9 brothers and sisters. When she and Penny were looking for her poems in her room earlier in the episode, she said all her brothers and sisters shared the same room and she said that she only has 4 brothers and sisters (actually, they all looked like girls.) She even said, sarcastically, she would have to share her room with the 4 of them until they go to college.
(edit)
The scene where Oscar said "I have my sandwich, my drink, and my big screen TV," then the shot showed the TV, it wasn't a big screen TV.
(edit)
