Plus, an old friend from the past reappears to make Julien's life hell. I thought a lot of this episode was really good, with only a couple of major concerns I have as the season comes to an end. I loved Julian getting some media press in this episode for being the hero that took down a bad guy, but bringing back his ex-boyfriend was bad timing and there are two possibilities here. The first being that the ex-boyfriend stays around and causes drama. I really don't like this strategy, but at least Julian has all ready come clean to his wife so I'm not sure how much it would matter. The other possibiliy is that the ex-boyfriend doesn't return to the show, which would make the scenes in this episode even more pointless. I have wondered if Julian is for real and he was tested in this episode, but I've never really cared about him enough as a character in order to care. I liked the scenes with Vic and the rest of the team in this epsiode. Very well done. I felt my heart go out for Vic at the end of the episode when his wife was trying to figure out everything was going on. At the same time I also jumped at him for being so quick to judge. I thought the case inside the barn with the rape victim was actually done very well too, which is something that doesn't happen with me very often.

The Shield continues to stick with its proven formula- get Vic and the Team crackin' on a high-profile case, send Dutch and Claudette on the trail of a quirky perp, and keep Danny and Julien beatin' the streets. Works for me! hide show

Vic and the Team set their sights on a high-profile bust that will help take some of the heat off of The Barn, enlisting the aid of Kern Little. Meanwhile, Lanie continues to try to trip them up (even making overtures to Tavon to rat out Mackey), and they continue to plan for the money train heist. Vic's relationship with Corinne takes another hit.

Julien receives an unwelcome visit from a reminder of his past, and Dutch and Claudette work a rape case with several twists and turns.

Another nice episode, but I'm growing impatient for the payoff- hit the money train, already!

I love this episode! hide show

I love this episode. Since Vic and the boys are planning to take the mnoney train down. I especially like the part where Lem and Ronnie was talking about his burns and Shane said these jokes are writing for themselves. Also I think David is wrong for firing all them cops because they didn't do nothing. With this money train going down I don't think it's going to work. Because somebody is going to find out and get the strike team. If David finds out what's going on then there's the end for the strike team. Also Shane is hot!

  • The crack in the backdoor window from "Co-Pilot" is still there. The window wasn't busted in previous episodes. []
  • The crew was supposed to film the first scene a day later than it was scheduled, but when the crew saw the rain the decided to film it out on the street. []
  • A scene where Vic kisses Cassidy goodnight was taken out of the show for time, but does set up him giving Corrine the divorce papers. You can find it on the Season 2 DVD. []
  • Lannie: This is a federal case, they had every right to know.
Vic: You blew our covert entry, put each one of my men in danger you sanctimonious little bitch.
Lannie: I'll be sure to include that quote in my report.
Vic: Include whatever you'd like. And tell those amateurs you got following me they might as well take the rest of the day off! []
  • Lemonhead: (About Ronnie's Skin-graph) They took the skin from his ass!
    Ronnie: Left cheek and upper-thigh
Shane: Oh, these jokes are just writing themselves. []
