Homer is upset when he realizes that Marge brought him and the family to a boring Harvest Fest instead of his much-anticipated day of debauchery at October Fest. Attempting to leave, Homer accidentally drags the family into a puzzling cornfield maze. When the whole family manages to escape except for Homer, they send out Santa's Little Helper, who sniffs out Homer and rescues him. Santa's Little Helper becomes a local hero and the Simpsons decide to enroll him in Police Dog Academy, where he's teamed with a grizzled veteran cop named Lou and they become a crime-busting duo. Over the years the Simpsons writers have always been original, and this proves it haha! A good episode to say the least. Watch it!

The team ends up arresting a known drug dealer; however, he is set free when it is revealed in court that Santa's Little Helper violated police code. Upset by the injustice, Santa becomes jaded and bites Bart when he tries to surprise him. Santa is subsequently sent to live with Lou. Trying to help Bart cope with his loss, Marge and Homer agree to buy Bart a python. During a show and tell session at school, Bart's python escapes and accidentally releases a toxic cloud from the science lab. Santa ends up rescuing Bart from the toxic cloud and they are reunited once again.
This episode wasn't so original. The plot was similar in another show. hide show
This Simpsons episode wasn't really great. This episode wasn't original. This episode ripped off Family Guy. Much of it is the plot. Remember the Family Guy episode, "The Thin White Line."
It's when Brian becomes a police sniffing dog. Santa's Little Helper became a police dog like Brian. Later in the episode, their dog forgets about his family like when Brian did. One more thing, what happened to Laddie? It was the dog Bart bought when using a credit card. Laddie must have retired police force. It seems like that these days Simpsons are stealing from Family Guy. It used to be the other way around.
the simpsons go to a harvest festival and get lost in a corn maze and everyone eventually gets out execpt for homer who has to be rescued by santa's little helper. after this the police officers say that santa would make a good police dog so bart reluctantly lets santa go. he later becomes sad and buys a python. santa's little helper likes the job at first and even catches snake who is trying to give drugs to the bullies. the drugs fly into the lake while santa's little helper is chasing sanke and some get eaten by a duck. in the trial snake is able to go free since the police report was unusable. santa returns home and bites bart and then must stay with the officer. later in the episode during show and tell strangles the snake eats martin's rabbit and then sneaks away and causes a chemical spill and everone escapes but bart who is later saved by snata's little helper and strangles. bart decides to give up strangles who is taken by willy who puts him in the fire hose holder area. a great episode. cool chris out. blair form yugioh gx is hot.
I'm going straight. Straight to my customers to sell them more drugs. hide show
I think the Simpsons now is once again the best show on TV. I marvel at some of the jokes they've been doing, and the actors ' deliveries have been great (Sometimes I forget why you're chief, but I remember now!), and the animation is really stellar, except for the 3D scene with the corn maze which looked pretty amateur. I loved the Korn song. I don't like the song but I think it works well as a joke.
