This is the first series entry in which the actual title of the episode is given and, as would be the case in all subsequent episodes, it appears near the beginning of the episode itself along with the major behind the scenes contributors such as the Executive Producer and Writer.

Trampas is absent from this episode, which makes sense as in the flashback episode in which his coming to Shiloh is revealed (Season 2, Episode 1, "Ride a Dark Trail') Steve Hill is already a hand at the ranch. Frank Sully who would later regularly appear as the saloon bartender Danny in several episodes, appears as the hotel clerk here.
