I just found an interview w 1 of the writers who talks about the show and what would have happened if it didn't get canceled (maybe two pregncys!). There's also a script that didn't get made. Funny! War at Home interview and script

The 2nd season ended on a semi cliffhanger with the mother being pregnant (haven't watched the show since last Summer so can't remember her name!)
