Sam: The dials go from zero to 100. They dial up if they like what he's saying. They dial down if they don't. All the numbers lead to a central computer.
Lisa: Like the Nielsens.

The Nielsens are the numbers used to judge how well a television program has done. It uses "families" to judge an audience and estimates the numbers for broadcast and cable networks and television stations. It is similar in the way the President's State of the Union is judged as both use numbers gathered by viewers, that can make or break a show or in this case a Presidential approval rating. edit »

I love the episodes that sort of focus on one character, but then keep everyone else in check too... And I love Sam and I love State of the Union episodes, so this one is good all around.
