    Election.. hide show

That was amazing episode. I think there was no doubt about the win of the election.. but the illness hitting again.. and the overall feeling - that they have worked for it.. that was just amazing.

I also liked Donna's storyline with misplaced vote and trying to bring the justice.. a honor thing.. It was great.

And then that storyline in California.. with that dead candidate.. it was a really great one too.. that passion that guy running it had.. amazing..

One really beautiful episode.. end to emotional and long storyline - they are staying for another term and this time it will be harder..

  • Richie Supporter: Let me ask you this. Bartlet's supposed to be smart right? He's the smart one, we're the dumb ones, he knows best. So what does it say to you when his people don't know how to fill out a ballot? Maybe he's a little out of touch. Is that what it says? (walks away)
Donna (yelling after him): Or maybe it says with the president's supporters accidentally voting for the wrong candidate, you're still gonna get creamed you little fascist! []
  • C.J.: Did you--?
Sam: Yes. I turned, I cursed, I spat, it froze. []

  • Josh: You've got to go outside, turn around three times and curse.
    Toby: Spit.

The actions to reverse the bad luck is a reference to the play Macbeth.
It is said that the play Macbeth is cursed. Saying "Macbeth" inside a theater will bring bad luck. To reverse the bad luck things like Josh and Toby say have to be done by the person who said it. []
