This show is about Shakira(season 1) and alex(season 2) learning about the past and they timetravlers are Sam and Jen(both seasons),,,so sam and Jen appear out of nowhere when Shakira or Alex needs help on trying to figure out about the past,,, they usally go back to roman times, but sometimes they go back to Preistoric times and show them things that people now a days will never do again,,, such as throwing garbage out the window and not throwing it in the trash,,and what how people treated others when they were sick and it also talks about school,, only once or twice...

It is very informative, but it needs work. hide « show »

I saw this show as a marathon on Discovery Kids Channel. One thing I've noticed is that there are many inaccuracies on the show, like it seems to only focus on things in Europe and North America. Granted, the show is made in Toronto, but when you talk about something in history, you should also mention where it started. Some things were invented first in China and then taken to Europe by traders. Also in one episode, it talked about children who worked, but never mentioned that it was poor children who did it.

lots of inaccurancy and only focuses on European and American history hide « show »

i like the idea of the show, it is very easy to understand and follow. however, their information are not entirely correct... rather than dating back to the histories of discovery in Europe, they really should be looking at the Chinese - history pratically started there. There may have been more inventions made in Asia than all the other countries put together. The world's oldest noodles were unearthed in China that dates back 3000 years, and a map of the world that was recently revealed that is disputed to date back to 1419; nearly 80 years earlier than Christopher Columbus.
