Tom and Jerry are chasing each other as usual, but when they ruin a presentation of a group of astronauts about to go to Mars, Tom is forced to get rid of Jerry. It goes out of hand when they accidentally join the astronauts on their trip to Mars, and are abandoned there. Tom and Jerry have no choice but to befriend a martian, named Peep, who is trying to help them stop the other martians from taking over Earth.
