Jeremy Clarkson: Some say that each of his toenails are exactly the same as a woman's nipples. And that he thinks the credit crunch is some kind of breakfast cereal. All we know is he's called the Stig.
(edit) Jeremy Clarkson: Hello and yes, tonight - and for one night only, we've accidentally made a show all about cars.
Richard Hammond: Yeah, for the whole show, not one of us falls over or catches fire or anything.
(edit) Richard Hammond: [referring to the Audi RS6 Avant] I've got three setting for the ride settings: sport, dynamic or James May.
(edit) Jeremy Clarkson: referring to the Subaru WRX STI] And the only reason they can sell it for £25,000 is because it has fewer luxuries than, I don't know, an Egyptian's lavatory.
(edit) Richard Hammond: One thing I have to remember, hurtling down this hill: this is a heavy car. It's 145Kgs heavier than the BMW M5 estate. That's like driving around with Chris Moyles permanently in the boot.

Top Gear's audience figures were down this week, due to the live coverage of Spain's victory over Germany in the European Championships. The figure of 4.2 million gave Top Gear an 18.1% share of the TV audience. It remains the most-watched programme on BBC2.
(edit)
Hammond was so set in his rampage to demote the Aston Martins down the Cool Wall, that he broke the door off the sub zero fridge and threw it on the floor! He actually hurt his hand at the same time which amused Clarkson greatly.
(edit) Clarkson once again shows an image he found on the internet which can only be seen by the studio audience. yellowbucket101 (who was in the studio audience) confirms that it was very disgusting and warranted the reaction that the audience made!
(edit) The celebrities only finished setting their lap times 2 hours before the edited version was shown to the studio audience. Rupert Penry-Jones was particularly impressed with this speedy editing.
(edit) The camaraderie between the 3 lads is just as amusing as when the camera is running (however, James May seemed visibly irritated about something during the filming of this episode). Also The Stig introductions really do seem to be made up on the spot as it took several takes to shoot due to Hammond cracking up and Clarkson changing the introduction several times. Brilliant to watch. (edit)
