    I'd say that mine is Season 9. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

    There are so many episodes in that season that I love.

    Actually, the more that I've been looking at the episode guide, I've noticed that there are a lot of episodes I've never even seen before, so I'm really looking forward to all of the DVDs being released.

    Season 7 is my favorite because it has my very favorite episode,the two-parter called "Shallow Water".

    I can't even choose a favorite season, they were all so fantastic!  Some of my most favorite episodes were in season 7 and 9 but I couldn't pick a favorite season.  The finale was so terrific, the perfect ending to such a great show!  It's a shame it was cancelled!!!

    Is there any confirmation that the later seasons are going to come out on DVD?

    Just wondering since I can't find them online yet and have been looking for them...

    Season 4, Volume 1 is set to come out in March! At least they're speeding up the releases now!

    I liked the 2 part episode "Liberty Moon" from Season 4.
    Many "teardrop" moments. It was the one about China and Tiananmen Square incident. Perhaps what makes it good is because that really did happen, and many lives were lost and families broken. The DVDs is taking forever to come out, they are broadcast on TV though, and I have seen some being posted via torrents.

    I agree! Although, I'd probably say that most of my favorite episodes are in seasons 4 & 6.

    Season 5 is my favorite, cause my favorite episodes are in it, Psalm 151, Fighting the Good Fight, Flesh and Blood, Black Like Monica.......these episodes are destined to be classics and one day I hope to get every Season on DVD.

    Also so is Season 6, the episodes that I like are Mother's Day(sequel to Psalm 151), Monica's Bad Day, Such a Time as This, The Invitation, The Face on the Barroom Floor, Send in the Clowns....the list goes on and on.

    yes "shallow water"1 and 2 were defenitaly great episodes and Randy Travis who played Jed was perfict espicaly when he sang "Shallow Water" and "Baptism" from his insperational journey album.

    I don't know about favorite season, as there are so many standout episodes in EVERY season. I would have to say that my favorite EPISODE is "Psalm 151" with Wynonna. My 5-year-old is a HUGE Wy fan, and I'm trying to get it so that she can see that episode.

    I don't know if I have a favorite season as I love all the seasons, but it seems like a lot of the eposodes I like the most are from seasons 4 & 6.

    I think my favorite season of the show is Season 7. So many good episodes occur n this season.

    I like all the seasons, but the season 6 is maybe the best.
