Wasn't Tracey funny at one point? hide show
I was a huge fan of her old Fox show, and it really worked because the ensemble cast was exceptionally strong. It is no coincidence that most of them went on to voice the central characters of the Simpsons. Here, however, Ullman tries it on her own in a sorta mish-mash of Little Britain type show focusing on pop culture figures and then the "everyman/woman" type characters. The problem is that there isn't anything really interesting going on and most of the comedy falls flat. It really goes wrong when she does racial stereotypes and then it comes off as crass and sometimes borderline racist.
All in all, I can't say I'll ever bother watching it again.
