Hugo and Sookie embark on a dangerous mission to locate Godric. Meanwhile, Bill is shocked when a vampire from his distant, more violent past resurfaces in Dallas. In Bon Temps, Daphne presses Sam to get comfortable in his own skin(s); Hoyt continues his unlikely courtship of Jessica; Andy interrogates Lafayette about his disappearance; and Tara and Eggs take a detour while on a road trip. At the Light of Day camp, Jason faces difficult emotional and physical choices. I love this show. I love teh whole storyline with all the characters. Eric is so hot and powerful, my favourite character ever. I love the scene with him and Lorena, who is awesome in the book for a couple of reasons. I also love the way Eric wants Sookie. I love the scenes with Bill and Sookie for obvious reasons they're such an awesome couple plus great storyline. Bills sings and plays the Piano yum - it's just a drean tough, I love the scenes from the dream. I love the scenes with Sam and Daphne too. I love Hugo and Sookie scenes. I love the scene with Andy and Layfette, where Andy is Eric - I laughed so hard so funny, I also love Terry in this scene. I love the scene where Hoyt tells his mother about Jessica. I love the scene with Jason and Luke I think his name is, I wasn't a fan of him in early episodes but I like him now. I love the scene with Eggs and Tara, though I'm not sure I get it. I love the scenes with the Newlins, Sookie and Hugo, amazing scene the Newlins they know about Sookie, they lock Sookie and Hugo up. I love the scene with Pam and Layfette too, great storyline. Whatt the hell, is with the sick very graphic scene, ew. Aww, i love the scene with Hoyt and Jessica. Oh my, what's with them taking Sam to the sick graphic scene. Maryann is evil, or does Sam kill her!?! Awesome episode.

Read the books first or at least along with the season! hide show

Ok I am coming to realize that most people who watch the show have never read the books. Which by the way are amazing! I like this episode and series because of the books even though some things are a little off but thats bound to happen. Please if you love the show then read the book series! This is one of my favorite authors of all time! Charlaine Harris is her name and she has many other series other then the sookie series please check it out here is the website http://www.charlaineharris.com/ she really is the author of these books, its not a scam or anything

Lorena ruins every eoisode she is in. It is just automatic. Who told this poor girl to be an actress. Im almost sorry for her. Possibly its the role. Admittedly dull. Once again we get taken out of the plot to see Bill and Sookie hide show

Bill and Sookie don't have the best chemistry. I like them as a couple, but they just aren't a sexy couple. The cast here, with the exception of Jason, Tara and Eggs are just not people you want to see nude. the vampires were disappointing. Just really obvious and silly. Maybe it would be better if the writers of the show just concentrated on writing good chracters, instead of good vampire characters, and they could avoid a few of the stereotypes. I think that would go a long way to fixing things. As is the vampires all seem like charicatures. All spite and angst and lust and no subtle emotions in any of them. Id rate this as my least favorite episode

    10 Perfect

A wonderful insight into Bill's darker past including the best surprise of all: his piano and song number! the sunshine church finally shows their true side; Maryann conjurs up a gang-bang orgy. This is the best episode of True Blood I have seen so far! hide show

About 5 minutes into the episode when Bill is by the piano and doing a song number, I thought this episode couldn't get any better, but I was wrong, it got so much better that I almost forgot about Bill's wonderful musical talents! Lorena, Bill's maker shows up in this episode and her flashback gives us insight into hers and Bill's past. It's basically the Spike and Drusilla story, but seeing them feed and murder people, then have sex bathed in their blood, that's some hardcore **** that Buffy or Twilight could never pull off.

Sam and Daphne's pooltable nudity's getting a bit boring, what does Daphne wanna say really? with all that talk about Sam shouldn't be ashamed of what he is, etc etc. Is she trying to save him in some way from the hands of the evil witch of the west?

Tara and Eggs dig up a new mystery(or so we thought) when they drive by a place Eggs vaguely recognizes, and they find a circular place with charred rocks piled in the middle, bloody clothes laying around and a rock with a lot of blood on. We realize what this is later..

Meanwhile, a pointless dialogue back at church camp about whether or not Jason should be abstinent and he and Luke builds the platform the priest wants to fry Godric on. The vamp lady in the nice outfit(fashion crime: she wore the same outfit twice!!) showed up with her human boyfriend, and the plan is that he and Sookie will pretend to be couples and infiltrate the sunshine church camp. Sookie's being annoyingly blonde as usual, and in their conversation the guy, Hugo, mentions that he wants his vamp-gf to turn him. Sookie(again: blonde!) was shocked as she had never considered the fact that in 40 years she'll be wrinkly and sagging with no teeth while Bill would still be Peter Pan. Guess what their next bed-time topic will be? Anyhow, of course their plan went wrong and they got kidnapped by the church. I just wonder what they'll do with them, fry them in the sun together with Godric? The only good thing that came outta this ordeal is that Jason and Mrs. preacher finally shagged.

Back home, Tara and Eggs return to find a major porno-flick level gang-bang going on in the woods near Sookie's house and Maryann's of course in the middle doing her crazy dance. Unfortunately they weren't able to escape her powers either and were later found doggy-styling. Sam also got dragged into it by pig-girl Daphne, turns out she's Maryann's pig from the beginning, but what on earth do they have against Sam anyhow? It was Maryann who shagged him when he was 17, whatever did he do to her??

My hero of this episode is, however, Hoyt. The way he finally stood up to his mama, telling her he's dating a vampire, and then driving all the way to Dallas and showing up outside Jessica's hotelroom with a flower bouquet in his hands. I can't imagine any girl or vampire who wouldn't fall for that!

Anybody else like Terry?! hide show

I totally fell for him in this episode. (Full disclosure: older gay man who loves this series...)

He's always been cute, and fragile, and kinda hot in a weird awkward way...but when he scooped up Lafayette on the floor and defused his traumatic stress, his rating went WAY up with me!

Hell NO, he's not gay but he proved to be ultra-compassionate and just so damned empathetic with that scene...now I love him, even though he's such a minor character!

Please, no hate; it's my first post here, and I just wanted to mention a character I like, who doesn't get much credit...and I really dig the discussions I read here about this cool show...

    Peace and Tolerance,
