    Hello everyone!

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm looking for a site administrator to possibly answer me.

I realize you guys have compiled a comprehensive list of avatars/icons to use, but they are all generic (in terms of being only related to the shows) and are repeated over and over on all different people's posts.

I was wondering: Are there any plans to implement an option for us to upload custom avatars from our computers? All the other messge boards have this, and it's nice because it's a form of self-expression/poster recognition. It makes you much more unique as a poster.

Surely being as sophisticated as TV.com is, this is in the works, right?

    Please let me know. Thanks!

I remain optimistic that this will eventually be a feature. After all, it is possible on other CNet sites. And so I wait patiently...

At the moment you can't. Staff have turned off this function.

Maybe sometime in the future, but don't hold your breath.

Hello Ed. Thanks for the input.

My point was I did read all of these threads thoroughly before raising the issue here. I know it isn't an option--anyone can see that by researching the ins and outs of their profile. I hoped maybe someone had some insight as to if/when this will be made available, and more poignantly, if it's currently in the works.

I haven't heard any recent discussion about when or if this might be implemented.
