We've just added a new feature called
the "Pre-Show Buzz", which you can use for any upcoming episodes of
your favorite shows.  We've set up a poll and a nice little graph that
will show just how excited (or un-excited) users feel about that next
episode.  You can also comment (or speculate) on what you think the
next episode has in store for us.  So check it out!  Vote!  Create some
    Buzz!

Thanks!  I seen this and wondered what the skinny was on it.  Guess I know now!

Also I guess this explains why we were all having problems...new feature...old problems!

The only problem with this is going to be the same thing that you get on ratings for unaired episodes, someone is going to go in and start voting for an episode that is not even on for a month or more.

I think there's only about a fourth of my favorite shows that still have upcoming episodes.  This seems interesting and fun.

With some shows, I know I'll be watching every episode no matter what. I think this is a neat new feature.

The button remains, that's for sure. Shows off the air 20 years still have the button.

And I'll add I question the value of this "buzz" thing. Don't people already discuss future episodes in the forums?

    That was my understanding.

    Poll = good.
    Pre-show Buzz = useless

I think it's funny that it's available for shows that are already aired, so that you cannot do anything with it. How about code to hid the button after the air date and when there is nothing submitted?

I think there's a bug when it comes to voting on polls and pre-show buzz: you can vote multiple times if you're using different computers/browsers! I guess the information whether you've already voted is stored in a cookie which of course doesn't migrate from computer to computer. I was wondering why you would make the polls so that you can't see whether you've already voted but I guess it was just me accessing TV.com from different computers at home and at work.

But why is there no option to change your vote? A girl can change her mind, can't she?

I saw the new feature and used it. But, I agree with Jekyll the shows are already discuss in the forums so there's no real need for this feature.

I think there is other thing that could have been made before that! It's a cool function but no the one I was really hoping for!

I like the feature. It's kinda interesting to see who wants to tune in or not tune in to an upcoming show.
