OOps, sorry. I should clarify. NOT to my profile "nicoleyco", but to my professional listing page.

    Thanks!

If you are the actor and want a photo added to your guide you would have to contact one of the site staff, Danmod , Jaxiecracks or Nilla_chelle01 . The TV.Com Staff are the only ones that can add pictures to show or people guides because of copyright laws. I hope this helps.

Actually, due to those same copyright laws, I'm afraid we cannot accept photos, even from the actor. We post photos exclusively through agreements with wire services and network-provided promotional kits. Sorry!

Thanks Jaxie. I didn't know that. I'll add this thread to my list of reference threads.

I work for a television company and as part of our marketing efforts, would like to update the photo gallery. Can official, copywrited photos be sent electronically? If not, how do we submit a promotional kit?

Contact the network and ask them to include it in their promotional kit, ask them to send the kit to TV.com.

Thanks for the clarification; what address do I mail the promo kit to as I cannot seem to find this information anywhere on the site?

Are you with the network, or a television company?

If you're with a television company, you mail it to the network as noted. TV.com doesn't provide network addresses. Presumably if you're with a television company that deals with a network, you have their address.

If you're with a network, you check with your PR department.

If I'm understanding the person correctly, he/she wants to mail the press kit to tv.com. If that's the case, I'd send a PM to a staff member (such as danmod or nilla_chelle01) to request the appropriate address.

Except as jaxie said, TV.com gets the network-provided promotional kits from the networks. She didn't mention getting promotional kits from television companies. And television companies typically handle their promotion through the network they produce the show for.

TV.com/CNET's mailing addresses can be found here as well.
