Given some confusion over our recent change from using bold and italic coding to strong and em, please take note of the following:

Contributors: When editing an existing entry, be sure to change any existing bold/italic tags to the new strong/em formatting in addition to your original edit. There's no need to edit an entry simply to change the tags, since these will continue to display on the site properly, but if you are making a legitimate edit (for instance, to correct a spelling error or typo, or mistranscription), please be sure to change the tags.

Editors: As with all other submissions, you can either a fix a submission that hasn't been formatted properly at the moderation stage before approving, or reject the submission and ask for proper formatting. Please be understanding that not all users are familiar with the recent change in html language, and feel free to point them to this section of the TV.com Guidelines (and posted below) for how to properly format a quotes submission.

    How to Submit Proper Quotes

Brooke: So that's the boy that beat Nathan?
    (Peyton nods)
Brooke: Well, he's good from behind.

    Code:
    <strong>Character</strong>: Character Quote.

    Code:
    <em>(Character Action)</em>

    Code:
    <strong>Character</strong>: Character Quote.

Please do NOT use any quotation marks.
Please do not use paragraph or break tags.
    Code:
    <p> or <br>

Please put html tags for italics around any "action" and outside the parentheses (as shown above) using emphasis tags.
    Code:
    <em> and </em>

Please put the colon AFTER the closing strong tag.
    Code:
    <strong> </strong>:
