    Okay, this is an idea I've used quite successfully on a number of other boards. I want to try it here.

    The idea is that I draw up, with your help, a list of things of the same type, related to television, such as theme tunes or actors. Then, in a series of rounds, I make individual battles and the battles continue until we are eventually left with one winner. This is not an elimination game. You only get one vote per battle.

    To start out, the first edition will be TV Theme Tunes. I need everybody to post what they think are some of the best TV Theme Tunes. For this nomination stage, you may post as many or as few as you want. You may also second someone else's nomination. It can be any tune from any TV show that you want, so long as you think that it's good. If there are too many nominations (I plan to use 32), I will pick the ones I think are best. If there are less than 32, I will add in my own choices to fill in the gaps.

    Current Edition - Stay Tuned...

    Previous Edition:
    Television Theme Songs - Naruto Season 5

    Italics = Currently battling
    Bold = Going Through to the Next Round
    ~~~ = Eliminated
    Any TV theme songs that you like! It helps if its well known, though, because people are going to be voting on it and if they don't know it, it'll just get zapped out fast.
    Well, I certainly can't say now that I don't have enough nominations. King -- that's quite a few for you, though, so I'll probably only include maybe like 5 to 10 of those, or so. Also, there are some classics and stuff that just aren't coming up, so I'll probably have to do at least a bit of adding in of my own.
    Okay, thanks everyone! Here is the final list for the first round:
    Angel
    Babar
    "California" - The O.C.
    Cheers ("Where Everybody Knows Your Name")
    Cowboy Bebop
    Diff'rent Strokes
    "Everything Is Not What it Seems" - Wizards of Waverly Place
    Full House
    Futurama
    Gimme a Break
    Happy Days
    "I Don't Want To Be" - One Tree Hill
    "I Don't Want To Wait" - Dawson's Creek
    "I'll Be There for You" - Friends
    Jeopardy!
    "Low Rider" - George Lopez
    Naruto Season 5
    Press Your Luck
    Recess
    Star Trek
    Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Fourth Season Plus)
    Tailspin
    "That '70s Song" - That '70s Show
    The $25,000+ Pyramid
    The Amazing Race
    The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
    The Office
    Viewtiful Joe
    Welcome Back, Kotter
    "Who are You?" - CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
    "Whatever It Takes" - Degrassi: The Next Generation
    "You Can't Take the Sky from Me" - Firefly
    And here is the first battle:
    Happy Days (This catchy, upbeat theme for the classic show included lyrics such as "The weekend comes / My cycle hums / Ready to race to you." It was written by Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox. It was performed by Jimmy Haas for the lead vocal. You can find a MIDI here. I will not be linking to MP3s.)
    vs.
    "Who are You?" - CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (This extremely popular theme for the hit show was written and performed by Pete Townshend of The Who. Find a MIDI at the top of this page.)
    Please vote for only one of the two just above, and only vote once. Based on the voting pattern, the next battle will be made in around two to three days. The battles will continue until there are no more battles in the round and then a new round will begin. I will keep the updated results in the first post of the thread.
