• Because of his cantankerous nature, Charlie earns the nickname Gnarly Charlie from Mr. Jones. [edit]
• Charlie Winters is sent back to Missouri in 1971. According to a sign outside the store which has a phone number with area code 314, it is in St. Louis area. [edit]

• Al Waxman does not appear in this episode. His place is taken by Judge Deborah, played by Polly Bergen. Polly would again play Judge Deborah in the episode Blood Brothers, which aired right after this one. [edit]

  Mr. Smith: That's right.

I'm sure it happens to the best of angels. So why don't we just turn around and go back? I mean, who's to know, wight? No harm, no foul. What do you say?
