Charlie is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Jaguar in the front, and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother Alan, who's facing a divorce, and his son Jake, come to live with him. Together, these two and a half men confront the challenges of growing up; finally. Complicating matters are the brothers' self-obsessed, controlling mother, Evelyn, Alan's estranged wife, Judith and Charlie's crazy neighbor Rose, who wants to be a part of his life and is willing to do anything to be around.

  Jingle writer and bachelor Charlie Harper gets annoyed when his brother Alan Harper and his son jake move in with him after Alan's wife, Judith, throws him away from home. hide « show »

  This show might be the best sitcom ever created since "Friends". The series revolves about Charlie, a jingle writer bachelor who owns a Malibu beach house and is very popular with women; Alan, a quiropractor who's wife threw out of the house and has economic rpoblems who goes to live with his broth er's house; Jake, a 10 year old kid who goes to school and keeps getting older and son of divorced parents.
  The show's main characters are well defined and the storylines are great. Is really funny and has great jokes. Definet ly, this is the best show since the 1994's "Friends"

  two and a half men has got to be the most hillarious sitcom in the world(well maybe after friends haha)the director that decided to cast angus.t jones as jake is a genius because it just doesn't get funnier than jake and chalie is hillarious as well with just the way he thinks allan is just funny,has no confidence whatsoever but he holds everything together,How their all afraid of their mother(allan,charlie)is one the funniest things, overall this is probably the best comedy show i've seen in a long time if your in a bad mood theres no doubt that this would cheer you up.

  It's a great show with perfect casting, Charlie Sheen plays the womanizing bachelor well, John Cryer is the perfect choice for the uptight brother. All other characters casted well also. Such as Angus T. Jones (Jake) with his dimwitted attitude and Holland Taylor as the stuck up but hilarious Mother. With great guest stars and a fairly famous cast to begin with, the show is hilarious and offers raunchy humor for the adults but still something you don't have to use the V-chip to block. Seasons 1-5 are already on DVD and I can't wait to buy season 6. It's overall great!!!

  the only current sitcom i can watch. it is definately the best one since Friends. hide « show »

  I have seen every episode of this show multiple times andi stil find them funny. it is the only sitcom on tv right now that i actually find funny,definately raking among the classics with Friends and I Love Lucy. the only episode i did not really like was the CSI crossover one, although that could be in part to the fact that i don't Really like CSI. i was so happy to hear that the show got picked up for another three seasons and i cant wait. i think that it should end with Charlie finally setteling down, Allan finally moving out and Jake finally graduating!

  This comedy show on CBS. is about a bachelor Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) until his brother Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) moves in with him with his son Jake Harper (Angus T. Jones) when Alan gets divorced by his ex wife. So these three men are forced to deal with their problems with school or even love. Charle has a stalker at the start of the series Rose (Melanie Lysnky) and Charlie and Alan have their troubles with their annoying mother Eveyln Harper (Holland Taylor). This show first aired in September 23, 2003 and is still running on their 6th season. this show is one of the best comedy shows I've seen since the hit tv show "Friends" (1994-2004).
