Very unlikely, there are only four people who even remember that this show ever existed and it failed to remain on the air when the Lifetime channel recently aired it. It would probably cost more to make, package, advertise and distribute the DVD's than they would make. Ironic thing is that this show is funnier than the current garbage the networks pass off as comedy. The networks are too concerned with trying to compete with reality, crime dramas and flavor of the day shows like LOST to have time to develop good comedies

I loved the show and I know at least one other person that liked it too. Ryan Reynolds is just starting to break out and Nathan Fillion is just awesome. Everyone should watch it.

I like this show and it used to be on in Australia like every night. Now it's not on at all.

ONE of my faves of all time..i pop in an episode whenever i need a good chuckle!...needs to come to dvd....hopefully...more ppl will become interested when all the stars starting hitting it big again!

When what stars hit it big again? They need to hit it big once before they do it again! Traylor Howard is drowning on "Monk," Suzanne Cryer is MIA, Nathan Fillion bombed with "Firefly" and then topped it off with a nuclear bomb called "Serenity!" Richard Ruccolo did a minor part on the huge mistake of major network programming called "Joey" and Ryan Reynolds has made a career out of making horrible movies i.e. Van Wilder, Blade Trinity, The Amityville Horror and I stress the word HORROR, Just Friends and the classic Just Waiting which reminds me by the way that I am waiting for him to make a half way decent movie some day! I sure hope that you know something that I don't know and when you referred to the stars as if they had hit it big once before you were not talking about Two Guys and a Girl as there first big hit! A TV show that gets a major overhaul right away, a name change and got bounced around so often when it was on ABC that even the producers of the show didn't know what time or day it was on is no actors idea of a hit.

Serenity was not good and that is clear from its box office return and yes a movie can be considered bad when it bombs at the theater and "Titanic" is a perfect example. With “Titanic” the studio was expecting a bomb and it become the highest grossing film of all time because of word of mouth and repeat visitors who wanted to see the film multiple times. Serenity was a very boring TV show and the film was exactly the same with a bigger budget. No one wants to see a high tech future type show where it’s intermixed with western technology. That’s like walking around Manhattan and seeing thigh holsters and people riding horses and no cars. “Blade Runner” was a movie that did an incredible job of showing a high tech future mixed with people who could not afford a flying car. “Firefly” and “Serenity” were using two ends of the spectrum spaced very far apart and this created an unrealistic mix and its characters were not hardened enough for a universe that is in anarchy following a war. Ryan Reynolds is a guy who can delivery funny lines with charisma but his choice of movies has been pathetic. “Van Wilder” was a bad movie and only high school kids would look up to a character that has been going to college for 7 years with no direction and parties with people who are way too young and “Waiting” was so unfunny and could have been filmed by anyone who owns a camcorder with the same results. Another character like Van Wilder that is wasting his life away doing kids stuff while hanging out with kids. I like the guy and enjoyed “Two Guys and a Girl” but his movies are bad and neither him nor any of his former cast members has done anything worthwhile since the show ended in 2001.

There are a lot of people that don't have a problem with the western theme. I don't think you understand what kind of sci-fi movie it is, it's considered naturalistic science fiction. So for the most part it obeys most scientific laws. In Firefly there's no sound it space, they don't travel anwhere near the speed of light and they don't have rediculous technologies like is Star Trek and Star Wars. Also it was made for people with slightly more refined tastes. The show is very character driven, with excellent interplay between them, not to mention they are all flawed, all be it not to the extent of BG, but still...Anway, the show and movie were both great and like a lot of movies in recent times it's making up a lot of money on dvd sales.

I love Serenity. Just because it doesn't make much at the box office doesn't mean anything. It
s now got a worldwide cult following. Titanic made heaps at the box office and it was the biggest waste of time.

i was so suprised when i saw serenity. i was expecting the usual big explosians and cool effects but no story but it was actually a really good movie. i think van wilder is a funny enough movie as long as you don't take it to seriously and i thought just friend was class

I bought this on ebay all seasons for $35. The quality was okay. There was one missing episode. Where Pete and Sharon kiss and Irene comes into the picture. A few ep out order. And then one time it cut out a few seconds. But I am just happy I got to see all the episodes again. Now I can watch them whenever.
