- As the events upon which Underbelly is based are part of an ongoing criminal trial process, the program is restricted from broadcast in the state of Victoria. However, freak weather conditions on the night of March 12th bounced the Tasmanian broadcast across the Bass Strait, where Underbelly was able to be viewed by a number of households in the suburb of Geelong, one of the closest points to Tasmania on the Australian mainland. edit »
