- Trivia: Sam is the only one to wear civies in the episode, the rest wear their uniform for the entire time. edit »
- Teal'c's age makes one wonder how Jaffa really age. In the season 4 episode "The Light", Teal'c says he is 101 years old. Going by the time that passed on the ship, he's older than 150 years at the end, yet he looks as if he's in forties. In the season 5 episode "Threshold" it's stated that Bra'tac is 137 years old and he looks much older than Teal'c looks being 155. edit »
- Trivia: Apparently Jaffa age at a rate of about a third of humans. Teal'c aged to about 130, but only looked to be in his 50s and he claimed to still have many years left. edit »
- The whole idea of the reverse time bubble seems flawed. Sam turns on a shield to exclude Teal'c from it, but once time is reversed, wouldn't it reverse time so Sam would turn the shield off? edit »
- This is the second time Claudia Black and Ben Browder's characters grow old together and then, when time's reversed and they're young again, forget the whole 50 or 60 years lived in the alternative timeline. The first time they did it in Farscape, season two, episode "The Locket." edit »
- The simulations of the Odyssey being destroyed are re-used shots of the Korolev's destruction, from the season nine finale, "Camelot." edit »
- The last words of Teal'c, in fact the whole SG-1 team is "indeed." edit »
- Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks, Christopher Judge, and Gary Jones are the only ones who appear in the first and last episodes of Stargate SG-1. edit »
- This episode first aired in the UK on the 13th of March 2007 on channel Sky One.
This episode aired in Canada on Space on June 21, 2007. edit »
- Mitchell: And then what? I've said it before, I am for fighting to the death, but we need a plan. Preferably one that avoid the "to the death" part. edit »
- Mitchell: Are you saying it took two weeks to figure out this idea wouldn't work? edit »
- Mitchell: Hey, Sam, do you remember when we were stuck out of phase?
Sam: Which time? edit » - Thor: General, with your permission a number of Asgard are prepared to beam aboard immediately to begin installing various technological upgrades to this ship.
Mitchell: Hope it's ray guns.. I got ray guns in the pool. edit » - Landry: Okay, it's only been a couple of weeks.
Vala: I have a problem with the word "only." edit »
- Mitchell: It's the Love Boat without the band and the buffet.
Love Boat was a television show which ran from 1977 to 1986, featuring a cruise ship on which a new set of passengers would work through their problems with love every week. edit » - Mitchell: What we need is we need Superman to fly around the ship really really fast.
This is in reference to the ending of the 1978 movie Superman, where Superman (Christopher Reeve) flies at supersonic speed around the Earth, reversing its spin and, thus, reversing time (to undo the effects of the California earthquake caused by Lex Luthor. edit »

The Bottom Line: "Series finale"05/22/08 08:21am | report abuseAs a singular episode this would have been fantastic, but as the finale to the longest running sci-fi show ever it was somewhat disappointing. However nevertheless it was a very well put together episode and I did enjoy it. ...Continue »
