Boy George in the A-Team - now that's funny. I would've put that top, though Bowie was very funny in Extras. Good list.

What about Chris Martin on Extras? He was much better than Bowie.

Robon Williams / Billy Crystal are not Pop Stars - that's why they are not in this list

Will & Grace had a few hilarious pop star cameos...

Madonna as an office manager, who becomes Karen's roommate.

Jennifer Lopez (AKA J-Lo) as herself, who hires Jack as one of her backup dancers.

And my personal favourite, Harry Connick Jr who actually marries Grace, and stars on and off for quite a few seasons.

Oh, and Sting performed on Ally McBeal after being (fictionally) sued by a woman and represented by Ally's law firm.

Erm, isn't a cameo a one off appearance? If it is then Bon Jovi's shouldn't really be there, he was in it for an entire season.

I haven't most of these but i agree about Geri's appearance in Sex and the City. It was pretty bad.

I don't think it would count but I think Michelle Branch's appearance in Buffy was pretty good. She didn't act, just sang. But she sang a song called "Goodbye to You" which was emotional at the time because Giles was leaving and Tara was breaking up with Willow. It's not my favourite show in the world but i watch it sometimes and thought that bit was very well done.

Meatloaf on House was my personal favourite. And before you all go nuts I know that that happened after the list was published.
