If this had been made 10 years later it would have been a big hit. hide « show »

This show was about 10 years before it's time. If it had been made in the 90s it would have been a big hit I'm sure. It was a combination of 'The X-Files', 'CSI', and 'Criminal Minds' (mostly 'Criminal Minds' which is basically a modern version from what I gather).

The show had an excellent cast: David Soul, M. Emmett Walsh, Jennifer Hetrick, and Kent McCord in particular being popular actors before and after the show. It also had gritty plotlines and excellent guest stars (including Kevin Spacey). It's a pity that the networks didn't give it a longer run, because 8 episodes was never going to be long enough for people to really get into the show.

FBI profilers at work! hide « show »

Judging by the success and popularity of Criminal minds, Unsub was totally ahead of its time. In fact, if I remember it correctly, this show had a little dash of CSI in it as well. I remember hooded jumpsuits with gloves and booties and the agents collecting fiber samples. I remember one character who role-played the killers actions, just like Derek Morgan of Criminal Minds.

It's a shame it lasted just half a season. Ironic when you consider that Unsub was a CBS show, just like CSI and Criminal Minds.
