    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

    You know, I haven't written a Lost-review since Season 1.

I promised myself not to write one until the show ends. But I had to. I loved this episode. My favorite since Season 3's 'The Man Behind The Curtain'.

    Oh, where to begin?
Let's do the Flashbacks. I loved the teaser. Locke's mom, Emily. Back in the 60's? She got hit by a car when she was Six Months pregnant. After Locke was born, she didn't want him anymore and gave him away. I loved how creepy-Richard was watching over him.
Yeah, Richard, one of the highlights. We hadn't seen him since Season 3's finale. And it was SO good to see him again. I love that guy... so much mystery. Just like with Rousseau. I also enjoyed the flashback with Abaddon. Who else thought he was going to throw Cripple-Locke off the stairs? That guy is really creeepy. On the Island in the Freighter, there's a lot of drama going on. it was before Keamy left to go to the Island. They had Michael chained and tortured. I'm surprised with how much i'm liking this new version of Michael. What else happened? To summary things short. Sayid left the Freighter to go to the Island. And Keamy was the one who cut Doc Ray's throat and shot the Captain. Yeah, my least favorite part of the episode. I don't see why the writers introduced SO many Freighters just to kill them off. It seemed very unnecessary. I can understand Nadia. But why George? Regina? Ray? and most of all, Captain Gualt. That guy had so much to give. I mean, his last episode was Meet Kevin Johnson, when Sayid gave Michael up. It ended with that cliff hanger. Three episodes later, Michael is chained up and Gualt gets shot and killed? I feel cheated somehow. Enough rambling. I still looved the episode. And most of it was because of the Island stuff. Locke had a dream including Horace, who told him to find his body. Which had a map. It was about time the writers made him reappear. I loved all the Ben-scenes. He's been such a strong character this season. I felt bad for him, really. My favorite scene was when Locke entered the Cabin and found Christian and... shockingly, CLAIRE. She didn't seem to care about her baby. A lot of people think she's dead, but I doubt it. I think she just knows everything now, the importance of the Island etc. And she thinks that giving up her baby is probably the best thing to do.... or, she is in fact dead. I guess we'll see.

    Amazing episode. really. loved it.

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

I have never been a fan of anime, and I have stayed away from it as long as I can remember. I mean, everyone watched Dragon Ball and Pokemon as kids. But that's in the past.

But lately, I've had to urge to try something new. And I decided to watch some Anime pilots, a watched some, and although I liked all of them. None of them were 'good' enough. I wanted something better, and then I watched 'Death Note'.

Omfg. That's what I said after the intro, it looked amazing. Dark, and twisted. Totally me. And then I actually watched the episode, and fell inlove with it.

The main character is very intruding, he thinks he's making the world a better place by killing people he sees as unworthy to live. And the Devilish dude knows that the boy himself, is just obsessed with this new power.

The death scenes were very impressive, and the animation was downright perfect.

It's an absolute keeper, the animation works, the story works, and the writing is superb. I love it, a morbid and utterly brilliantly well done Pilot. I hope the rest is just as excellent.

    The Bottom Line: "Poor"

Dear BEJESUS. I've had it with this show, after an absolutely terrible last episode the show still keeps it LOW. Season 4 could be very frustrating at times, but nothing as much as this episode. It's to much, it's like a Pornographic Soap Opera. Matt's plot is probably the only thing I basically cared about during this episode. I felt so bad for him, but at least his scenes were strong and memorable.
I've come to a conclusion that the writers simply hate him. If you look back, he's the character that has had to suffer the most. and apparently the suffering is not gonna end anytime soon. Anything else that was remotely memorable?
Well, we got Julia. The scene in which she and Olivia thought they were gonna be murdered was moving. I also LOVED when Julia finally gave Eden a piece of mind, I don't think i've ever cheered this loud during an episode of N/T. But that's it, everything else was frustrating and gave me a headache. Kimber is just beyond redeemable, she's a messed up sad pathetic woman. I feel terrible for her child, having such a cheap trash of a mother.

and Christian? he's like a male version of Kimber, only he hasn't got a soul while Kimber misses a brain. And btw, the Julia/Christian storyline has dragged on for FOUR seasons. I hate them together, there's ZERO chemistry. Please, get OVER it already. It's like watching Dawson's Creek only worse.

But the worst of the worst is Sean having sex with Eden. I won't go to much into it, let's just say it made me want to quit watching this show all together. It's just sad to see a show like Nip/Tuck turn into such garbage. Please, kill Eden, please, make her explode.

    Music from Pluto

I mentioned that I've become the editor of yet another New Zealand TV show, Orange Roughies, and I've actually found a source for the show, allowing me to watch it. So far it's not bad, but there's one thing about it that's a definite thumbs up: the show's main title theme is the song "Long White Cross" by the Kiwi band Pluto. Pluto also has another connection for me at TV.com, one of the actresses I edit, Kate Elliott, is married to the band's lead singer. So when I went trolling for a video of the song, I found one at YouTube, and thought I'd share it with you. Hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think!

    The Show Must Go On

    Hey, it's me again.
Since I haven't been feeling like blogging or visiting tv.com in a while, I've decided to take a break from it.
I'm not sure for how long, coud be weeks. months. maybe just a couple of days. Depends on how much i'm gonna miss it.

In case it does take a long time, I just wanted to say that I had some great times here. I considered tv.com as my second home for a long time, and I won't forget it.

For my music list, Go Here (I will update it with time)

and to finish the blog, i'll give some of my favorite tv shows a shout-out. Tv is what brought me here in the first place.

    30 Rock

The greatest comedy of our time. Great cast + Great crew + Tina Fay = Lots of goodyness

    Angel

One of my first addictions. A Vampire with a soul? This show makes spin-offs look good.

    Battlestar Galactia

A hardcore sci-fi for grown-ups. No silly costumes, just straight up epic battles and Cylon sex.

    Big Love

Who wouldn't wanna have three wives? Shame they come with babies though.

    Carnivale

A show that brings the word 'Epic' to another level. Oh, I can only dream of what it could have been.

    Dead Like Me

Life sucks, but so does the after life. A great show about finding yourself after you die. If that makes sense.

    Deadwood

Full of filthy people, whores, savages and cursing. Wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for the perfect cast.

    Dexter

One of the best shows on tv, serial killers have never been this sweet before.

    Freaks & Geeks

High School sucked, no other show put it in a better perspective. Shame it didn't last.

    Lost

Bunch of people stranded on a mystical Island. Finally a show that fulfilled it's potential, and then some.

    Mad Men

Most stylish and perfect show on tv right now, if not -- ever. I love it more than I love your momma.

    The Office

Maybe not as fresh as it used to be, but still comedy gold and with a great cast.

    Pushing Daisies

Most colorful, sweetest, adorable shyte on tv. It's like crack, you can't get enough of it.

    Rome

The most expensive tv show of all time. It was epic, and full of powerful characters.

    The Sopranos

Most critically acclaimed show of probable -- ever? The Godfather of tv.

    Six Feet Under

Still my favorite show, it moved me, abused me, entertained me, and almost killed me.

    True Blood

My favorite new show, it revived the vampire genre and gave it some extra bite.

    Twin Peaks

One of the best looking shows of all time, with an eerie, creepy and dreamy atmosphere.

    Weeds

Honestly, I am loving all the changes. The darker it gets, the more I love it. Dark comedies are my favorites.

    The X-Files

My oldest addiction, it ran for 9 years, influenced many tv shows and was one of the few shows of that genre that got the fame it deserved.

    My Complete Top 100 Shows

And i'll finish this with a song .

    Best wishes to ya'll.
