    my story:
Hello there, if you have stumbled on this profile by accident, I truly do pity you, because I am a TV Nerd and like to do nothing with my time but obsess over all things television. I am a 19-year-old male aspiring Television Screenwriter who watches more shows than you think are on TV. Before you continue reading, I really must warn you: I have a penchant for the random. Though my list of favorite TV shows is long, it in no way truly reflects all the shows that I love (or used to love). The list should be quite a bit longer, but I have relegated it to my more recent obsessions, now. Ah, what a lovely word: obsessions. Should I give you the rundown? Sure, why not? First and foremost, we have Lost. Lost always has been, and always will be, #1. Nothing, not even Heroes (#2) can come close to dethroning it. After #2, which is Heroes as I just stated, my number systems runs into a massive grey area where there are more ties than the men's clothing department. For that fact, here's a simple list (alpahbetically, no less). And we have...Battlestar Galactica, Bionic Woman, Burn Notice, Californication, Chuck, Dexter, Eureka, Family Guy, Gilligan's Island, Grey's Anatomy, House, Jericho Joan of Arcadia, Journeyman, Last Comic Standing, Man vs. Wild, Mister Ed, Monk, Moonlight, NCIS, October Road, Prison Break, Psych, Pushing Daisies, Reaper, So You Think You Can Dance, Standoff, Stargate Atlantis, Survivor, The 4400, The Big Bang Theory, The Bill Engvall Show, The Dead Zone, The Kill Point, The Riches, Threshold, Veronica Mars, Whose Line Is It Anyway? (USA), Women's Murder Club... And I really cannot forget to mention, I have an extremely unhealthy addiction to British TV. I have never met an American who downloads and watches as much British TV as I do... Sadly, all British shows I watch are also obsessiosns, so here is that list. ...A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Doctor Who (2005), Hotel Babylon, Hustle, Jekyll, Life on Mars, Murder Prevention Unit, Planet Earth, Primeval, Robin Hood, Spooks, The Grid, The IT Crowd (UK) The Secret Diary of a Call Girl, The Whistleblowers, Torchwood, Trigger Happy TV, Whose Line is it Anyway? (UK), Wire in the Blood... For any British people who view this profile...please, PM me recommendation for more shows I should watch. So now that we have gotten the whole obsession thing out of the way, I am going to shut up now. Feel free to friend me if you don't mind my random and infrequent blog-posts. I do most of my blogging on my LiveJournal (link below) so feel free to check that out. ~ Nicholas

    • TV-Links Gone for Good.

"TV Links, a Web site that provided links to hundreds of movies, documentaries, TV shows and cartoons hosted on streaming media sites such as Google Video and YouTube, has been raided by UK authorities. The site's operator was also arrested, The Guardian reports. Even though the site has not hosted any pirated content, it was a thorn in the side of movie and TV studios, thanks to having links to newest movies and TV shows. As the largest site of its kind, it showcased the power of user-driven Internet, with the site's visitors helping to keep links to content constantly updated." Get out your hankies people and start crying now, because the website TV-Links.co.uk is officially gone for good, which means no more lovely shows to watch online anymore. Not from that site at... Oh man, I am back to my "on a whim" downloading again (which is really inasanely fun, especially when you get addicted to said whim. I just started downloading Seasom 1 of BtVS. And by several days I mean about a week. That kind of pisses me off, because usually I have a wicked fast connection...and I WANNA WATCH THIS NOOOW!*grumble grumble grumble* Read more »
