    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

This was a really good episode. First, look at and feel the chemistry between Chloe and Clark. It's amazing! Then, look at the LACK of chemistry between Lois and Clark. It's forced. Just had to mention that. Anyway, as one of Smallville's biggest critics, I have to eat a nice helping of Crow because this episode simply blew me away. It was a bit sad to see Chloe lose her knowledge of Clark's abilities with all of their history. They had been best friends for so many years and a friendly shoulder for Clark to lean on and to abruptly remove that from the friendship equation is disheartening, but it adds a new dynamic to the show and it's refreshing that things didn't revert back to status quo.

We'll see how long Brainiac infests and corrupts the Fortress of Solitude. I would imagine that it won't be long, but this would be a clever way to introduce the Eradicator. The Brainiac residue from Chloe's ear combined with the Fortresses powers could be the avenue to another formidible villain for Clark... providing he gets past Doomsday.

I'm more than excited to see "Bride" in the next installment. It will be interesting to see how Lana's character is handled since she'll be the one person remaining in Smallville with intimate knowledge of Clark's abilities. (Ollie and J'onn are in Metropolis) It would be nice if all the formers like Ma Kent and Pete returned for the wedding.

Doomsday it going to be a sight to behold. From the previews, he looked brutally fantastic and the episode appears to be the action-packed installment we've all been clamoring for. Finally, I'm looking forward to watching Smallville again.

    The Bottom Line: "Fair"

This was a very weak episode. The villain was more lame than Superman: The Animated Series Toyman character. Let me get this straight- The main nemesis became a villain because he had a bad relationship? Seriously. Is this the best villain the think-tank could conjure up? ...and this guy convenitnely happens to be wearing a kryptonite bracelet? This is Superfriends-esque where Superman's villains would always carry some kind of kryptonite just in case... and is Lois is seemingly showing less intelligence as the episodes progress or REgress? (depending on your point of view) Did she not hear Clark burst through the walls and onto the scene? Did she not see his face battered and bruised only to be miraculously healed afterwards? Did she not hear Clark mysteriously break his restraints? Did she not wonder how Clark wasn't scolded by the steam? Did she not wonder how Clark managed to get from one side of the room to the other and take out the masked assailant in the blink of an eye? For someone that supposed to be ultra-intuitive, they periodically make Lois out to be an oblivious airhead. The only purpose this episode served was to establish Lois' deep-rooted feelings for Clark. It's too bad the two of them have very little on-screen chemistry. It's like the writers are trying to force their relationship onto the viewers to compensate for lack of plot and action. There were far more failed points to this episode than positive and the plot-holes for a show of this magnitude were downright embarrassing. We'd all be doing ourselves a favor and pretending that this episode was just a bad dream.

    Black Friday: The AFTERMATH

    Source: NY Daily News

A Wal-Mart worker died early Friday after an "out-of-control" mob of frenzied shoppers smashed through the Long Island store's front doors and trampled him, police said.

The Black Friday stampede plunged the Valley Stream outlet into chaos, knocking several employees to the ground and sending others scurrying atop vending machines to avoid the horde.

When the madness ended, 34-year-old Jdimytai Damour was dead and four shoppers, including a woman eight months pregnant, were injured.

"He was bum-rushed by 200 people," said Wal-Mart worker Jimmy Overby, 43.

"They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me.

"They took me down, too ... I didn't know if I was going to live through it. I literally had to fight people off my back," Overby said.

Damour, a temporary maintenance worker from Jamaica, Queens, was gasping for air as shoppers continued to surge into the store after its 5 a.m. opening, witnesses said.

Even officers who arrived to perform CPR on the trampled worker were stepped on by wild-eyed shoppers streaming inside, a cop at the scene said.

"They pushed him down and walked all over him," Damour's sobbing sister, Danielle, 41, said. "How could these people do that?

"He was such a young man with a good heart, full of life. He didn't deserve that."

Damour's sister said doctors told the family he died of a heart attack.

His cousin, Ernst Damour, called the circumstances "completely unacceptable."

"His body was a stepping bag with so much disregard for human life," Ernst Damour, 37, said. "There has to be some accountability." - END For the remainder of the story, click HERE.

My thoughts: First, I'm offended that they continue to call this day BLACK FRIDAY. Like WE had something to do with that. Anyway, this entire incident is WalMart's fault. Every year the same type of incidents occur, people hurt by the stampedes, trampled, pushed into store displays... How about some kind of security detail to keep the order? No order = chaos and where there's chaos, people get hurt or even killed. When there's a new video game system, they have people line up and issue numbers. Why couldn't the system by utilized for the big door prizes; the HDTV's, laptop and Blu-Ray players? Furthermore, how about allowing a set number of people into the store at one time? This entire incident is Walmart's fault and they should be held liable for their employee's death for lack of foresight.

Question: Did anyone partake in the sales on the day after Thanksgiving? I did NOT. I stayed at home and relaxed. I did purchase a newspaper just to see what sales were out there out of curiosity. There was NOTHING that made me want to get up at 1 in the morning, stand amognst a throng of strangers and miscreants in the freezing cold just to save a few dollars on crap that I don't even need.

(edited with something I completely forgot!) )A wtf moment to remember

You know, sometimes life feels like throwing a complete wtf moment at you. Some days ago, I experienced such a moment, and it was even a good one! Here's the deal:

Thursday, I got on the bus to school as usual. Since it's a long way to school (30-40 mins), I usually do something on my laptop when I'm sitting there, be it watching anime, playing games, doing homework or something else. Adn on the laptop, I have this really cool pic from Naruto. Anyway, I take on my earbuds, and start listening to some lovely J-music. It doesn't take long, however, before I feel someone tapping my shoulder. The first thought that runs through my head is that my music is too loud and that sound is 'leaking' out. So I mute the sound, take off the earbuds, and look over to see this girl standing there. Of course, now I expect to hear something like "could you turn donw your music?", but no, instead she asks: "That picture on your desktop, that's from Naruto, right?". I, being compeltely baffled, mutter "um... yeah?". She replies "that's awesome! Do you watch it?". She was obviously an anime - or at least a Naruto - fan. And such the conversation started. She ended up seating herself next to me, and we talked about anime and Japan and whatnot during the whole bus trip. I found out she's actually attending the same school as me, but she's taking Arts. We met again at the bus Friday morning, and, well, I feel like I've made a friend (and a girl at that =P) in a pretty peculiar way.

As for other stuff, there's not a lot to say. I'm still friggin' sick, but I'm getting glasses, which may actually help (yeah, starting tomorrow I'll be using glasses =D). I hope so, because my grades have fallen to Bs/Cs instead of pretty much straight As >_>

And that's about it for now. Later, folks!

Song of the blog: Ritsuko Okazaki - For Fruits Basket (opening theme for the anime Fruits Basket)

EDIT: I completely forgot to tell you that today is my 16th birthday =D

My usual halloween story/to all American users

Alright peoples, number one my usual halloween story! I went as Indiana Jones, had my whip and everything, my friend went as a tv box, he was almost unable to fit through the door, after sitting down his head just went flying back haha. My other friend she went as a pregnant lady I told her, "You should put a knife in the stomach and say you had an abortion!" haha . Anyways my box friend of course had some people hittin his box as he walked down the hallway, it was so big hehe and you just kinda wanted to push him down, then obviously help him back up. In my english class my friend hid right ahead of the class wit his head and hands in the box planning to jump out and scare her, of course the teacher walks in and just goes, "Who's in the box? (insert name here)" , everyone laughs and we ask her how'd she know, her answer, "Because I'm not as stupid as I look" then smiles hehe, then my friend is unable to get up, he went down and got stuck haha. As for me, when I walked into religion class my teacher was dressed in the same costume, both of us take a shock stepped back by 1 step for a second at the same time . Then both, show the hat, show the Indiana Jones tag, now my shirt was red under because I didn't have the white button down, and he goes, "I've got the shirt" so I said, "I got the whip" hehe and showed him it haha. Went cracking it at lunch, and before that me and my friend were gonna enter a mummy contest and I went like, "Come on, you'll have an Egyptian on your team! Mummy wrappin is in my blood!" by the time she says yes too late they had the teams all up *pouts* we coulda won!!!

At the end of the day me and my friends were talkin, and I just notice my biology teacher sneaking up behind then just gives my friend a smack on the box, then comes to me "I've been diein to do that all day" haha . And I also told me fwiends who are twins, "Next time, you 2 should just switch places" hehe . Anyways to me American friends you might wanna read this
