Let's take a look at school as compared with a job. An individual is all but required to attend school for twelve years if they hope to get a good job. During these twelve years the student works 5 days a week, and later on up to 7 hours a day. But is this hardworking student paid for this? Quite the contrary. The student, through their parents, have to pay to work. Granted, in elementary school, the workload is quite easy and fundamental. But once middle and high school is reached, teachers start piling on homework. Each teacher believes that their subject is the best, and subsequently try to give you the most homework.
