Thanksgiving is upon us once again, and as normally happens to me, I've begun to reflect on the changes this year has seen in my life.  Things got off to a whirlwind start when in early February, I was told my company was to be the victim of a merger where 98% of the staff would be out of a job by December 08.  This is the company I worked hard for and loved for the better part of 9 years (almost my entire adult life to that point).  So with some small amount of eagerness, and a large helping of trepidation, I once again returned to the job hunting masses and was disappointed to discover that interviewing for a job is like going on a blind date with 3 or 4 different women at once still.After just one interview where I was turned down (we're in April now), I was successful in landing a...
