By that I mean, many shows go by the formula. The main character befriends a victim of child abuse, the victim passes it off as an accident. By the time that the victim acknowledges that his/her parent(s) abuse him/her and seek to do something about it, the episode ends.
This episode on the other hand allows us the chance to see the abusive parent getting a taste of his own medicine. Sure it's not realistic, but it gives you a good feeling that justice (albeit fictional) is served.

The Spectacular Spider-Man Avg Score: 8.98 Total Ratings: 547 Total Reviews: 32 Users who agree: 1 |
Seeing the first two episodes made the wait worthwhile. Already the show had:
- Funny quips from Spider-Man.
- Developing story.
- Likable characters.
Weisman and crew have stated their intentions to keep the show close to the Stan Lee/Steve Ditko era and I have to say that they do even better. As much as I enjoy the Lee/Ditko tales, the formula wears a bit thin, where as the cartoon pulls the formula off without it being redundant.
I'm sticking with this series to the end (which hopefully will not be soon).

The Spectacular Spider-Man Survival of the Fittest Avg Score: 9.53 Total Ratings: 112 Total Reviews: 11 |
As much as I feel sorry for Peter's rejection from Sally, I couldn't help but laugh when Gwen and Harry commented on it. Either the scene was well written and executed or deep down I'm a jerk. I'll go with well executed scene :).
Same with the comment above, I had a small laugh when Eddie tell Peter that being a high school student with lack of experience keeps him from getting paid.
Relating to the comment on the podcast, as a fellow sap (I have a box of Shojo Manga for crying outloud), I too enjoyed Peter's dialogue about having Aunt May at the end.

The Spectacular Spider-Man Interactions Avg Score: 9.50 Total Ratings: 100 Total Reviews: 5 |
In Flash's defense, he did get a higher grade than Liz, so maybe Mr. Warren was a little too judgemental of him (interms of how he would function as a tutor). I'm half serious and half joking about this of course.
Not being able to have coffee for the rest of my life, I certainly hope I wouldn't go mad.
Many people compare Liz to Paulina from Danny Phantom, but the fact that she feels some remorse after Peter leaves says that she has more depth.

My favorite scene is definitely Spidey trying to sneak up on the Lizard only for the cellphone to go off.
As for Pete's choice to make many off his Lizard photos, it's no different than when he did the same in the 1995 Series. Besides, even in some of the early comics he display a moral flaw.

This is my first attempt at making an AMV; my first time using Movie Maker as well. It is probably not the best there is.
This is for the new main character in the next installment of the MegaMan series.
