Take me away, a secret place, a sweet escape, take me away!

-Archie's favorite singer!

I finally managed to get an iTunes gift card. I bought all of Archie's studio versions that I didn't already have, Ashlee's new album, Carly Smithson's last studio version, and the song in my title, "Pocketful of Sunshine".

Last week, Jason Castro was voted off AI. I liked him, thought he was cool, thought he has gorgeous blue eyes, and I think he'll have a great career in music. I just didn't think he was AI material.

This week, Syesha Mercado, the last girl, was voted off. She needed to be voted off a long time ago. Spartan will be seeing her on Leno tonight. Tell me what you think of her, and also what you thought of Jason. He's really cool-looking (he has dreadlocks). And he has beautiful eyes.

So now, American Idol has become the Battle of the Davids: David Archuleta vs. David Cook, the first all-male finale since season 2. Go Archie! Yay!

Not much has gone on, except for prom. It was last weekend. It was amazing.

I graduate next weekend! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all.

Hasta.

Got a dream they've come to share, They're coming to America!

-Archie's other performance on AI this week, which he dedicated to his mom.....awww!

Today I did some shopping........shopping for my new Wal-Mart uniform, and 2 pairs of shoes, and Anneliese's graduation card.

And I've spent some time on the Arch Angel boards.....woot woot. I am absolutely crazy about him....... He's such a sweetheart, amazing, an angel, an inspiration, and more. I could go on for hours about why I love him, but I already did that in the last entry. .

Tonight I watched the Zoey 101 series finale movie, "Chasing Zoey". It was exciting and tied up all the loose ends.

I think I'm going to go to bed....good night.

Hasta.

When I come to call, she won't forsake me, I'm loving angels instead.

-I'm listening to this song as we speak......David Archuleta has the voice of an angel! He's absolutely perfect in every way. I will tell you about why he's so perfect later.

Today I'm going shopping for a graduation card for my friend Anneliese, and a necklace. Her senior recital/graduation party is tommorrow, and I told her I'd go. She plays violin and piano, and also sings (altho she's not going to for her recital).

The necklace I'm going to send to David is one similar to one I wear: a ring on a chain, and the ring has one word on it. Mine says "dream", but the one I'm getting for David will say "inspire", since he's an inspiration to all of us.

I guess I'll tell you why he's so perfect:

I was reading a news article about him on his message boards on americanidol.com, and his neighbor told the paper about a time that David came over to her house and raked her leaves because she was pregnant and due soon. He wouldn't even accept a popsicle for the work he did. That just shows how big his heart is. It makes me want to cry.

He also said in an interview that his biggest pet peeve is litterers! I hate them too. So I make sure not to litter, especially when there's a trash can 5 feet away.

He has helped me learn to smile again through some of the darker points of this year. I won't go into detail about that, but let me tell you, it was not very bright and sunny. David's music and voice has made me smile again.

I'm a little lost in thought right now.....I should listen to another song.

Hasta.

Sweet Caroline, good times never seemed so good!

-that song has been stuck in my head for two days straight, and now I have two versions of it on my iPod: a live version by the original artist, Neil Diamond, and the studio version recorded by American Idol contestant David Archuleta, who's also my future husband.

Spartan might be interested to know that all of the top 12 AI contestants have studio recordings of the songs they sing on the show avaliable for purchase in the iTunes store. So he can listen to songs by Kristy Lee Cook, Carly Smithson and the most recent cast-off, Brooke White, who I'm guessing will be on Leno tonight.

I have studio versions of some of Carly's songs: her top 10 performance ("Total Eclipse of the Heart), her top 9 performance ("Here You Come Again"), her song for Idol Gives Back ("The Show Must Go On"), and her top 7 performance ("Without You"). I have yet to get her last performance ("Superstar"). And also a couple of songs by David Archuleta (the one in my title, "Sweet Caroline", which he performed this week, and also "Angels", which he sang and played piano for IGB), and will be owning one more soon!

I have to go to an appointment now.

Hasta.

That sweet little beautiful, wonderful, perfect all-American girl!

I finally got Carrie's new CD yesterday...I'm going to tell what I like about each song on the album:

1. "Flat On The Floor" I like this because it's upbeat and fun.

2. "All-American Girl" This is upbeat and fun, and I like the story it tells.

3. "So Small" kinda sad and good, but I love it.

4. "Just a Dream" this is a really sad song, but I still like it.

5. "Get Out Of This Town" I liked the beat, and the rock-edgy feel to it.

6. "Crazy Dreams" really catchy and will probably get stuck in my head.

7. "I Know You Won't" I like this because it's pretty and the message is true.

8. "Last Name" one of my friends on the AI site mentioned she couldn't wait for the video. I can't either, since this is a song you can rock out to.

9. "You Won't Find This" I like the beat of this, and the words go along well with it.

10. "I Told You So" this is kind of a sad song, but I liked it.

11 "The More Boys I Meet" this is really catchy and fun.

12. "Twisted" Kind of has an edgy feel to it, but I liked it.

13. "Wheel of the World" It's really pretty and nice.

I have a job interview today at Wal-Mart.....wish me luck!

Hasta.

Ken Jennings, Jeopardy!'s greatest champion, is a legend who made braniacs cool, dominated everyone, and is a pop culture icon. He won over $2.5 million on Jeopardy! and lasted for a long time. He plans on doing great things with his money, including donating some to church, and taking a trip to Europe. He has currently written a book, "Brainiac: Adventures in the Curious, Competitive, Compulsive World of Trivia Buffs", and I hope it's a good book. I plan on buying it as soon as I can. Ken Jennings is a legend, a pop culture icon, and one of the great people in this world.

Julianna Rose Mauriello
Avg Score: 9.37    Total Ratings: 74    Total Reviews: 16
Julianna Rose Mauriello, better known as Stephanie from Nick Jr's "LazyTown", is a talented young actress, and will be a big star in the future. She is very spunky, and has a very good voice considering her age. She starred in "Oklahoma!", and hopefully will also star in other popular TV shows. She sings 3 songs on "LazyTown", all of which are very catchy, and most people will grow to love them. Julianna will be a big star in the future, and most people will grow to love her both as a Broadway star, a vibrant pink-haired singer and dancer, and hopefully many more roles to come.

Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller is a funny comedic actor, who has scored many funny parts in movies such as "Meet The Parents", "Zoolander", "Dodgeball", "Starsky and Hutch" and "Meet the Fockers". He directed himself in "Zoolander" and that movie was very funny. Ben Stiller can handle any comedic role, from the dim-witted male model, to a villainous gym owner, to a male nurse. He can score laughs in any movie that is intended to be funny, and is very talented. He's talented, funny, and can do anything comedic. I don't know if he could handle a role in a really serious movie since I am so used to him being funny. But he can do anything funny and make it even funnier.

Steve Irwin
Avg Score: 9.64    Total Ratings: 249    Total Reviews: 36
Steve Irwin was larger than life, original, and was loved by many people around the world. He was known for wrestling with crocodiles, caring for the animals in Australia, and for his catchphrase, "Crikey!". He loved the animals, respected the animals, and once said in an interview that if he ever died because of an animal, he would be worried that people would forget what he taught, and only remember him being killed by an animal. But people will most definatley not forget what he taught, and will always remember Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. He was loved by many, and will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Steve Irwin!

Brandon Routh

Brandon Routh is the newest hot actor from Iowa. He started out with small gigs on TV, and then broke through as the new Superman in "Superman Returns". He is a versitale actor, and a gorgeous guy on top of it. He is very kind and generous, taking time to greet everybody who was at the Iowa premiere of "Superman Returns." I was there, and he took time to sign autographs, take pictures, and be interviewed by local news stations. He handles the role of Superman/Clark Kent very well, emotionally and in action. If "Superman Returns" scores big in theaters, then Brandon Routh will definitely still be on Hollywood's hot actor list. And hopefully he will make many more Superman movies in the years to come.

About Me

AshleeRoxMySox
I love to sing, and I am going to audition for American Idol after high school. I am a junior in high school, and I love to sing, act, and write. I write pieces for the open mic nights at my school, and they usually get some laughs. I am obsessed with Ken Jennings from "Jeopardy!", and I would like to meet him someday. I am also obsessed with quoting people in my quote book. This one is my very favorite quote that I have quoted: "No, my eye is humid." (Story on that some other time).
