Avatar: The Last Airbender

THE END

What a precise way to conclude the most amazing series of a lifetime. Millions of admirers grew to adore its imagination. People of all nations, races, and thinking are prone to its victory, placed within a relm of beauty that engulfs the mind with pure wonder.

In a way of an Avatard, this is the ending. A bittersweet culmination of thousands. As I write this to you, I am crying, but I am also confused. Right now, I have tears of joy and sadness overflowing in my eyes. Right at the end, as I saw Aang in his elegant Air Nomad clothes, I knew that this was it. People always imagned the end, with Aang's new clothing, or Katara's, whose shipping would win in the end, and finally, how Aang would defeat the Fire Lord.

Right now I am deeply wishing that I could take it all back; the times where the speculations always arose, bringing questions and doubted answers. Avatar will always bring me wonderful memories, and I really wish I could relive them. I miss this show already, and I have been dreading the day when the status of the show would finally say, "Ended". But I guess here we go; here comes a life that feels empty, a whole new beginning, a seemingly different world.

Everything is going to be different after today, isn't it?
Yes, it is.

I can't stop crying, and I honestly don't want to stop. This only shows how much dedication I have put into Avatar. I will never forget. Never.

Some may say that Aang should've killed the Fire Lord, but I beg to differ. First of all, he didn't kill because this was planned; second, this show is supposed to teach you something. There is always another way.

People always look to the world for a new meaning, but the world would have no meaning if it weren't for the people. People create stories, and thus they are told, heard, and seen. The world would be nothing if it weren't for the stories people tell, and no story would have a meaning if they weren't understood. The stories that teach you something are always to the heart, and when they reach your heart it is hard to turn back. They are unforgettable and pleasing to the mind.
Stories are doors to the heart. They can teach you something when you look for the right something, and can affect you in every which way.

People always say that your surroundings shape your personality, but you are the one that chooses your surroundings. Opening yourself up to new ideas, places, things, can help you to understand yourself, and everything you open yourself up to goes to your heart as long as you let it in. I learned that from Avatar.

Avatar: The Last Airbender isn't a show, it is a story.

Are You Ready For the End?

Is this really it? Is this really what we have been waiting for, what we have been speculating for? Can we do this? Can we bear it?

No matter how hard we try, we cannot let go of that bittersweet feeling we know we can't hide in that hallow pit of our stomach. We each can feel it, each breathe it, think of it, and have for days. In only just a few hours our favorite series will culminate in that final battle we have all been dreaming of. But is it really worth it? Yes.

Time travels fast, and when it finally hits you, everthing takes its turn too soon.

But here is a question that some of us are afraid to answer. It is like a fatal blow to the mind when you even take the tiniest ounce of thought about it. A killer question cannot stand on its own though, it needs a deadly answer.

Will you forget?

Life comes like a fast moving turrent, and becomes messy and unstable. But at the root of all things, you can forget the thoughts that might be the most precious to you. So are you even willing yourself to forget Avatar? My answer?

Don't forget.

Will yourself not to. If it means more to you than others may ever know, than don't forget it; even a little of the story.

Now for the question many of us have dreaded since we even became in love with Avatar: The Last Airbender...

Are you ready for the end?

Avatar Original Characters: Kela and Klearae

First of all, I am so sorry to say that I will not be able to post China pictures until later, that is, until after 8 o'clock. I feel horrible about it. But I was thinking of posting it as a special in honor of Avatar. I seriously am going through a mental breakdown. I don't know whether to be happy, excited, scared, or sad that this show is coming to an end. I garuntee that I will post exactly what my thoughts were, and if I cried. (Which I kind of already did.)

Secondly, this is a picture in honor of Dafoose. He requested me to make this for him a while back but I never got the time to actually finish it. These are his original Avatar: The Last Airbender characters, Kela (the waterbender) and Klearae (the hawk).

I'm sorry for the bad quality, but my scanner was acting stupid so I had to take a digital photo of this.

Avatar ErnestRayArt Trailer

So yes, we are still waiting for the China pictures. I promise you that they will come before the finale. I'm serious. But I am still blogging like crazy and have come down to the conclusion that I probably will these next few days. It all comes down to this.

Once this book ends, does the story go with it?

Your art request is almost done. Right now the coloring is coming along, after that all I have to do is find a scanner.

Sozin's Comet Poster

So I've been blog posting like crazy lately. My China pictures have yet to come though.
My mom still needs them for her scrapbook so it's taking longer than needed. Sorry about that. I will make sure I have them up before the (*sigh*) finale. It has a bunch of Avatar-related material in it! Like the Forbidden City (Ba Sing Se), The Great Wall (Ba Sing Se Wall), a bunch of masks like the Blue Spirit, Jasmine Tea, Tai chi and a bunch of Kung Fu, Oma and Shu-looking paintings, ancient calligraphy (I found the water symbol!), the fire symbol on a fire hydrant, and Zhao Mengfu?!

So while you are waiting for those, here is my entry for the nick.com Avatar special, "Countdown to the Comet" fanart segment. Don't worry, I already turned it in. It's pretty sucky, so try not to gag. Please also ignore the ugly Sokka. He's pretty darn hard to draw.

This show isn't half that bad. I was curious about it when I first saw all the commercials on Nicktoons Network, where I usually get my daily fill of Avatar: The Last Airbender because the main Nick channel does nothing to show it off. I eventually decided to give it a try. It's not a bad storyline, although the animation and some of the voice acting can use a little work. I really like the suspense of this show and how, for some odd reason, you always want to know what happens next. This is definitely a show worth looking into.

This show used to be really good when it came out in the 90's. I'm sorry, but a show going on this long should be brought down fast. It has completely pointless storylines and unloveable characters, except for a select few.
This show is now deemded by many as a complete waste of time and consists of horrible animation and direction. It gives some children bad habits (Which I know for a fact because I've seen it happen) and has extremely terrible humor. Nothing makes sense (And don't use the classic, "It's animation! It won't make sense!", quote on me. You know perfectly well what I mean.) This show is dead to me.

This episode is way too amazing for words. It blew me away! There was so much revealed..the battles were too awesome and basically every line a character said filled you up to the brim of tears. When Azula stalled them, whean Hakoda got terribly injured, when Zuko joined that gaang...WOW. You know what? MORE THAN WOW. We have finally figured out what happened to Ursa! She was banished for killing Azulon to save Zuko and make Ozai Firelord! (at least that's what I understood.) Zuko bends lightning..the ending when they had to surrender and Aang crying..the aftermath of Katara and Aang kissing...so good. Very well plotted. A MUST WATCH. It is definately what I have to call a series classic.

WOW. Through out this episode...mymouth literally dropped open! It was so amazing! It showed up things that we only have been dreaming of since the start of the series. An epic battle..though, it probably won't be as epic as the series finale, was pushed forward and so well plotted out that it was just..so awesome! The ending of this episode when Aang looks for the Firelord really made me gasp. His voice had so much emotion and frustration that you could almost feel like it was affecting your life. I give this like what? More that 2 thumbs up that's for sure.

This was an absolutely AMAZING installment. It taught us so much about the characters on the other side of the rope and it gave us what I presume to be on of the best short battles of the series! there was even a little nuge of Kataang and I loved how Aang fought. I was especially interested in Azula's ctions with this episode. She ACTUALLY made me laugh! She's so creepy...I LOVE IT.
And we learn about Mai and Ty Lee more. I never knew about their pasts until now, and I think that this episode is worthit to watch. You see a different side to almost every character that appears.
