"I'm here to kick ass and drink cups of tea...and I'm all out of tea."

Simply unfair

My mom lets my brother get away with murder. The other day he stayed up all night playing his new computer game and when I told Mom, she said he couldn't play it for the rest of the week (three more days). But what does she let him do instead yesterday? Play the computer game. For hours. This is simply unfair. Granted his PSP froze and he lost all the data from the game that was in there, but the kid has never been grounded a day in his life. When I was his age, I got grounded for stupid stuff all the time like lending my best friend my math book at a sleepover or taking a walk. My parents were strict with me, but they let my brother who is six years younger than me walk all over them.

No More Tagging Please

So far I've been tagged five times: by arandomeperson, AnimeMadness, TrunksSS3, Anime-Alchemist, and KujakuValentine. I can't think of that many things and I will not tag anyone else. No more, please. In the meantime, here's one of the pictures I tried to post before but couldn't:

Another thrilling weekend (bleh!)

Yesterday I had to go to a small family gathering (my mom, us, and her three sisters' families, which doesn't even amount to half the extended family). It was cool spending time with three of my younger cousins, but it was the most of the adults that were the problem. They aren't really phased by my academic success (all throughout high school they held high academic standards for me) anymore, and I got a stern lecture from my oldest cousin about how my lack of paid experience is holding me back in life and that my family doesn't really need me around. Like I said before, they only want us to come over just so they can boss us around and tell us how to live our lives. I'm sick of being nice and just sitting back and taking it. I even had a nightmare that my cousin came over just for a continuation of the lecture. The atmosphere was really tense, like they had it out for us. I could tell they didn't like us. And on top of everything, we were late because we got a last minute call from one of my aunts telling us to pick up corn chips and bags of ice at the store on our way over. And then halfway there we realized we forgot the birthday card for one of my cousins who's turning thirteen next week, so we had to go back and get it. They didn't like us being late one bit, expecially when we're usually on time or early. At least the ice didn't melt and my cousin liked her card. They also didn't think we had an excuse to be tired, even after all that and after having gotten up early and gotten groceries for ourselves that morning too. I hate it! And next weekend my dad's brother is having a cookout so we have to get dragged to that too and be subjected to more torture (not worse than yesterday's though).

Tag! Do I Really Have to Do This Twice?

Well I won't, I'll only do one. Mostly because I don't want to tag more people who may or may not have been tagged already. So here it goes:

1. I've believed I've had just a little bit of psychic power since third grade (don't ask).

2. I like to make my own birthday cake because it's fun to plan (although the last couple of years haven't been fun).

3. I periodically have nightmares about school, rarely good, usually bad or confusing ones.

4. My best friend, her boyfriend, and her other best friend are studying abroad in Germany, not that I used to see them a lot when they were home. They like to keep her from me. Actually, I hardly see anyone anymore, let alone hear from them.

5. YouTube series I subscribe to include Potter Puppet Pals, Chad Vader, The Irate Gamer, and Marvel/DC After Hours.

6. The Samurai Pizza Cats was my first anime. I wish I could see more of the Japanese version on YouTube but I could only find the first couple of episodes in Japanese.

7. I'm starting to like more musicals and I search for videos of them on YouTube (TimaTamaandRa is awesome!). When I go through withdrawal when I can't find any I like to fantasize about them.

8. Before playing a game I like to watch people playing it first before I join in. I still don't stand a chance most of the time.

9. My favorite cereal is Count Chocula.

10. I consider this tag thing to be like chain letters, which I hate, so why I'm doing this is anyone's guess. I know I had a good one yesterday but now I forgot it. I'm half-asleep right now anyway.

Okay, I guess I'll tag...

We're famous!!

Well, not me because I didn't go, but everyone from anime club who went to Anime Next were featured in a slough of videos on youtube by an 18-year-old named cosmosgirl. One video she couldn't even hold the camera still as she went around stalking everyone and asking them to say their lines (everyone decided to go as the cast of Brawl). You could barely hear anything though over her fangirlish squeals. I think this pretty much beats the time two years ago when that little girl thought Matt was the real Cloud. And of course one of our group (I don't know who but when I find out...) also posted a video where at one point he focused on Stacy's butt.

Also, my dad's out of the hospital. The cause of the internal bleeding which led to anemia was actually a stomach ulcer. Which is sorta weird because the only symptoms my dad had were those of a headcold. Now he's got all these medications to get and bills to pay and whatnot. But I'm glad he's okay.

I didn't like Celebrity much the first time she appeared, but now she's back for revenge on Shelton for dumping her. If it was a musical, Jacobo probably would have nailed it, except Celebrity also agrees that he's weird. Buzz likes Johnny Depp. The gardner uses a slate to cut the hedges. Hangers-on are banned until Riley switches the guard with their old baseball coach. Rodrigo the director reminds me of Quentin Tarantino. The stuntmen have a fake stunt fight, and Dick uses the airbag medallion from "London Calling." K can't distinguish acting from real danger. C.A.R. is not happy to be stuck with Shelton, who stowed away in the glove compartment. Todd is Shelton's best friend, but Shelton isn't Todd's? At the end, Dick thinks Riley is now the bad child and Todd is now the good child, since Hollywood can make or break character. Predictably, Celebrity goes after Todd next for quitting on her.

David McCallum as Doctor Who - I mean, Paradox. :P There were a lot of other references too. I especially liked the one-liners about long-lasting gum and anti-matter. "Gum lasts a long time - just check under your desk at school!" "Just make sure it doesn't come into contact with anything else from 1976 or it'll explode like anti-matter." As usual time travel episodes are somewhat confusing, and my one concern is that Humongasaur was seen by everybody at the military base when he saved Hugo. But I guess in the long run it wouldn't matter since the military would've kept that a secret too.

Garage Sale / Private Todd
Avg Score: 8.00    Total Ratings: 1    Total Reviews: 1
The theme for both episodes was cruel irony: Riley getting rid of all her "embarrassing" stuff when she didn't have to anything besides be herself, and Todd being so secure that he couldn't escape his spy-proof room. K is also so paranoid that she doesn't end up selling any of her own things at the yard sale, while C.A.R. manages to sell Dick all of his things back. The reason why it's a yard sale rather than a garage sale is because C.A.R. threatens the forceful use of mace on anyone who comes near his garage. K tries to use a drinking glass, which she claims isn't technically a spy device, to listen through Todd's spy-proof door, and Riley suggests she find a new hobby, to no avail.

This is why you have to be more careful of where you put your stuff. Riley, you idiot, get your head on straight and stop swooning over your boyfriend! Pay attention to what you're doing! Although I must wonder if it was worth risking embarrassment for Buzz to be seen carrying around a pink phone, but oh well. And why did he steal her ticket at the end and go out with Johnny? That was just weird, but no weirder than the random raccoon stealing Todd's Mr. Wiggles. Or C.A.R. being even more obsessed with J.J. Baker than he was with Dustin Dreamlake and having a lust for hybrids as if they were Playboy Bunnies.

The Campiest Episode Ever
Avg Score: 7.22    Total Ratings: 6    Total Reviews: 1
I looked quick and first thought the episode title was "The Campest Episode." :P So K sends Todd off to camp before he can finish protesting. Dick complains that he can't go to camp so K builds him a tent outside, which he hugs C.A.R. for instead, ruining a potentially romantic moment. "Get him off me K!" lol except C.A.R. could've just flipped him off of him with his hood again like before. Abby is at the rival camp. All of the counselors at Riley's camp, including Tasumi, are irresponsible, bribe her with ponies to join them, send the kids on a hunt for "Logfoot" and then blame Riley for it. Meanwhile, C.A.R. plays creepy noises on his sound synthesiser to scare Dick. "This is so wrong but so fun!" The ending was stupid.
