well after going to wal mart and buyign the components we needed to set up our wireless network, and about 3 hours of tech support earlier, i am now finally typing this on my new computer. Now our house has 2 computers (3 if you count that old moldy one in the basement) and my dad gave me and my brother the newer good one to share. The manufacturer is called ACer i believe they're somehow related to Compaq or something. Anyway right now I'm just installing games, downloading firefox, aim, last-fm, transferring my music, etc.

This is my first computer with Vista too, hopefully its not too confusing.

well, i got my new computer and we set it up earlier today, no internet though cause we need a router.

Been playing some Age of Empires 3, Madden, FIFA, etc. lately.

Some stuff coming up, on the 20th my relatives from California are coming which i'm pretty excited about, idk if they're staying with us or something cause we have alot of family in the area, but ts likely to mean alot of family time and business. Also, in 1 week on the 25th Preseason soccer practices start, aka Hell on Earth, we had a few summer practices here and there but we have them every day that week (besides weekends) early in the morning under the hot sun, it usually sucks and is very tiring, plusI've still got summer reading to do and school starts Sept.3rd sothings are going to get less fun very quick.

also, this is my 100th blog post! wow i dont remember posting that many haha anyway wooo!!

hi guys, just an update, as of earlier i became temporary leader of one of Gamespot's most successful and active unions, the Jedi Council Union I'm really excited and honored to have such a position in such a great union. If you aren't aware it's a Star Wars union. Anyway i want to thank UltraZero for passing the position on to me.

Anyway you guys should all join, even if you arent a SW fan, or you only saw a few of the movies or whatever, something fun is always going on at the JCU and theres Off Topic discussions as well.

i was inspired by Goliath_unit to make a blog about my favorite games. Also, Gamespot is looking new and fresh today.

Anyway, my list, i put lots of thought into this cause it was quite hard for me. Some games are clumped into a series so it wouldn't takes up the whole list.

here we go, my top 10 games!!

10. Dynasty Warriors Series

games played: Dynasty Warriors 3, 4, 5, and 5 Xtreme Legends.

Awesome historical anicient Chinese hack n' slash. God of War and Devil May Cry get so much credit for being the ultimate hack n' slash, i think this game deserves some of that. At a time in history where China is divided into 3 kingdoms full of warriors trying vying for rule of the country for their repective lords, you take to the battlefield, if you were a fan of 300 and the spartans give thee chinese guys some credit. Gamespot always rates these games rather low for reasons i dont understand. The reviewers complain that not much has changed since the previous game, but IMO theres nothing that needs changing, why try to fix something that isn't broken?

9. FIFA Series

games played: Fifa 2003, Fifa 2006, Fifa 2008

Best soccer sim, best sports games imo. It feels realistic like i'm at a soccer game, and i live in the USA so my chances of seeing real hardcore european soccer, for right now at least, are slim to none. So fun to play, especially with friends.

8 Splinter Cell Series

games played: Pandora Tommorow, Chaos Theory, Double Agent

Splinter Cell is the best action/stealth game in the world, it reminds me alot of my favorite TV show 24. It's so intense and the graphics are great, I can't wait for Conviction to come out.

7 Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII, one of the best games ever. Pure oldschool RPG greatness. Sure the graphics are ten years outdated, but the gameplay itself will probably never be, and the story and cast of characters add to that. It's a winning formula, trust me.

6 Final Fantasy X

not to be outdone, the only reason this game is ahead of FFVII for me is because this is the first Final Fantasy i ever played through and one of my first PS2 games so it always has a special place with me. Not to mention the story and graphics are top notch.

5 Ratchet and Clank Series

now this gets tough, #5, halfway there, any game from 5-1 could be #1 it was a hard process.

games played: Ratchet and Clank (Original), Ratchet and Clank Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal, Ratchet Deadlocked, Ratchet and Clank Size Matters

Some of the best games to ever grace the PS2, this quirky intergalactic platformer/shooter is always enjoyable to play, they are also very funny games. The original game won me over when i rented it, this would be my #1 but the recent installments have been mediocore, the first 3 (R&C, Going Commando, and Up Your Arsenal) are fantastic, after that the series went downhill.

4 Age of Empires Series

games played: Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion, Age of Empires III

Now, I put AOE series to be fair cause i have played 3, but Age of Kings and the Conquerors are the stand outs. Best RTS ever made. Historical Awesomness, all kinds of fun to be had on multiplayer, strategic, fun, challenging, AOE II has it all. I would say best PC game ever, but #2 on my list has it beat.

3 StarWars Battlefront Series

games played: Battlefront 1 & Battlefront 2

Maybe it's just that I'm a StarWars nerd but man these games are great. Great map design, great shooting action set in the SW universe, whats not to love? Multiplayer is awesome, most fun with friends at my battlefront LAN parties at my house back in the day.

2 Diablo Series

games played: Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

Flat out, the best PC game ever. When people think Blizzard they think WOW or Starcraft but think again, this game has those guys beat. Diablo has always been about having a solid storyline, awesome RPG elements, good fighting, dark, creepy, gothic art **** and fantastic multiplayer. And it's free to play online. The graphics aren't the best but the gameplay is flawless, the fighting, awesome, and the multiplayer is indeed fantastic, it's no wonder this game has such a cult following. And, Diablo III was announced a short time ago making now as good a time as ever to get into the series.

1 Jak and Daxter series

games played: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X

Wow, where to start. First, like i said, any game from 1-5 could've been #1, it's just this game has always had a special place with me, I will remember this game. The original Jak and Daxter hooked me in from the start, i loved it, i think i got it the same christmas i got my PS2. It was your basic platformer with so much more. Then Jak II hit, WOW! It changed so much from the original, Jak is now a badass, they enter the future, there's guns, huge environments much like every other game in the series. But the story and gameplay of Jak 2 were both spectacular, probably the standout game of the series, so many memorable scenes and characters. Jak 3 was good as well, all new environments, at times though it seemed like the plot was stemming in 800 directions at once like LOST or something but the gameplay and the end made up for it. All kinds of things were revealed about Jak, who his father is, alot of other things it was an epic action packed ending to the saga. Now, lets not forget about Jak X, well Jak X is a spin off racing game, so i am not going to talk about it veyr much its not a true J & D game although it is fun. Anyway at first glance you may think these are just some kiddy platformers but they are so much more in depth then that it's hard to describe, another thing is the kiddy element went away after Jak 1, which was colorful, Jak II takes place in a dark, evil, futuristic metropolis where you encounter even more characters and quests to do. Jak 3 adds evn more exploration. I totally reccomend these games to everyone they remind me of Oblivion but dont get as much hype because of their platformer status. I also forgot to mention Jak's dark and light powers he obtains in Jak 2 and 3 (and the end of TPL if you wanna get technical) which a Prince of Persia game copied the idea.

Anyway, I've been just doing the same old same old. Me and my brother are playing Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Double Agent co-op which is way fun, and challenging. And I'm replaying Pandora Tommorow, just beta the train level earlier.

Also, i heard about this really sweet glitch in Jak II if you have the game tell me it's prewtty awesome.

I might be busy the rest of the weekend, tonight or tommorow i might go to the pine barrens festival..yes...you heard me..the pine barrens festival, basically just a thing that happened once a year where all teens go to see their friends and theres overpriced bad food, rides, etc.

And Saturday i am going to a party i got invited to, idk why i am going cause i really dont know half the people, it just feels like i should go, my basic instinct is telling me to.

Also, in sports news. Brett Favre to the Jets, its official. dayum.

but now, we're getting down to what this blog is really about, you guys, i dedicate this blog to you, the readers.
