this chapter's just tells about their rehearsals so let's move on to the next..

chapter 9
Troy and his friends were praticing fot the competition. Chad, Zeke, and Jason played with their instruments. As they kept goofing around, Troy started to get so mad. He gave them a sermon about their mistakes.
Chad: We were just fooling around a little, Troy.
Jason: Yeah, this is supposed to be fun, remember?
Troy: I know it's supposed to be fun! But we also want to win, right?
Chad: Yeah, sure,Troy. We're out to dominate. Go Wildcats.
Troy: Okay, let's all... take five.
They took a break. Gabriella sat down next to Troy.
Troy: I don't know what's wrong. We all get along great on a basketball court! Everyone knows what's he's supposed to do; we work together like a team. I thought having a band would be the same thing!
Gabriella: Except, on the besketball team you're the captain.
Troy: What's that suppose to mean?
Gabriella: Well, you're not the captain of the band. Maybe you need to back off a little
Troy: The Battle of the Bands is only a week away. We can't afford to goof off. I've got to keep hose guys on track, or we're going to go down in flames.
Ryan came running up. He just finished Sharpay's rehearsal. Troy stayed with Gabriella for a few minutes. Gabriella finally told him that she's competing too. Troy thought that it was really brave of her to sing a solo.
After the talk they had, Troy gotta go continue their rehearsal. As he entered the auditorium, he could hear the guys talking about him acting like he's the guy who's in charge. Troy apologized to them. They thought that it was so hard so maybe they should quit.
Ryan: Failure is not an option!
Did you make a basket the first time you tried?
Did you dunk a ball the first time you tried?
Did you know how to... um.. you know, grab the ball after someone tries to make a basket that doesn't go in -
Troy: Rebound
Ryan: Right! Did you know how to rebound -
Chad:That's it! Ryan! Troy! You did it! We've got our name!

chapter 7
Another week of rehearsals for the Battle of the Bands went by. As the competition got closer, Gabriella found that she was seeing even less of Troy & Taylor. For the past week, Troy had only been alone to spare a few minutes with her before school, and she only managed to have lunch with Taylor one time. She had never found the right moment to break in and let them know that she was competing too. Her mom suggested that she should tell them soon.
A few das later, Sharpay was walking briskly down the hall. She almost ran into Troy & Chad.
here's the dialogue..
Troy: Whoa! Slow down Sharpay! Unless you're trying to take out the competition by mowing us down.
Sharpay: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't notice that there was any competition.
Chad: Ouch!
Troy: You'll notice when we take the stage for Battle of the Bands 'cause at the end of the night, Mr. Matsui is going to stand on the stage and he gonna say, "The winner of the East High School Battle of the Bands is - *remembered that they still hadn't decided on a band name*
Sharpay: Yes, I heard you're having a problem naming your little band. May I suggest "The Mind-Numbing Neanderthals?
Chad: We have a million names. Great names! In fact, that's the only problem we have. Too many excellent ideas for names!
Sharpay: Well, you better decide on one soon. A good name is one of the keys to impressing the judges.
Troy: Is that right? So what's your group's name?
Sharpay: For your information, it's "Sharpay and the Sharpettes"
Chad: Figures. What's your second choice? Me, Myself, and I?

hey people!

last sunday, the message in our junior church was about having a balance Christian life. there are 3 things that we must have as Christ's disciples:

commitment

focus

discipline

i don't have much of those three. most of the things i do everyday are always for myself. i haven't even open my Bible for like weeks. i'll start being committed, focused, and disciplined. 'hope those Christians reading this will do this too so that we can live a holy life.

i just want to share this verse, which i think i shared before on my blog's "our daily bread" segment..

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
~Matthew 28:19

this is what GoD wants us to do. i can do this in my own little way like this blog entry.
