I Have Discovered Fan Fiction!!!

It has finally happened. I have become a member at Fafiction.Net! I have already written three fan fics and I think I did an excellent job on them:

1) A Lovers' Swim

The name says it all. Kim and Ron make cooling down hot.

2) Crazy Shipping

Kim realizes she has feelings for her arch-enemy. To those of you who think this is whack, read the fic and get a twist.

3) Three's A Crowd

The most unlikey being in the world becomes Kim and Ron's greatest foe.

I do believe that many of you will enjoy these fics. I have lots more fan fics planned in the future, but I'll let you enjoy these for now. Just so you know, at fanfiction.net, I am known as Eddy13.

It So Isn't Over Yet!!!

Before I get to my main topic, I would like to make a speech (*ducks as they start throwing vegetables*). In 2002, Disney premiered one of it's most popular series, Kim Possible. I doubt even Disney knew what a hit they had at the time. The series had a trio of fantastic heroes, Kim Possible, the main character of the series, Ron Stoppable, her best friend/boyfriend and sidekick, and the remarkable naked mole rat, Rufus. I, among many others, was fascinated by the series and enjoyed every moment of it. The series ran for three years, and after 65 episodes, the series ended with Disney's Kim Possible Movie: So The Drama, in which Kim and Ron's relationship reached it's peak and their friendship became something more. Naturally, fans were outraged at the cancellation and rose up in protest, demanding the series be renewed. Disney complied and produced 22 more episodes. Recently, Disney held a 52-hour KP marathon, featuring every episode and movie made, ending with a 1 hour episode in which Kim and Ron graduate from high school.

With the airing of the graduation episode, the series has once again come to an end. I'm sure almost everyone on this site has seen the season 4 finale of Kim Possible. It does seem to provide a perfect ending for the series, although the same could have been said for So The Drama. I'm sure almost everyone who saw the finale are thinking that the series ended good, others are thinking that it could have ended better, and the rest wish that it wasn't ending. As for me, part of me thinks it is truely over, part of me thinks there is still hope that this series can continue, just like I think there's a chance Danny Phantom and American Dragon can continue. The season four finale left many questions that I want answered:

1) Will Drakken give up being a villian?

2) Will Drakken and Shego get together?

3) How will Ron and Drakken's new abilities effect the series?

and perhaps the biggest question on everyone's minds: What does the future hold for Kim and Ron?

To those who want these and other questions answered, don't despair, for while it looks like Kim Possible has reached the end of the line, hundreds of fans (myself included) are fighting for the series to continue, just like two years ago when the series originally ended. Even as I speak (or write), hundreds of fans are sending letters to Disney. The FFKP won't rest until the KP is renewed. As long as they are out there, it's SO NOT OVER!!!

Long Live The Am Drag!

Last week, I wrote a eulogy for Danny Phantom, this week I'm writing one for American Dragon: Jake Long. When the show first aired in 2005, I found it fascinating. I found many similarities between it and Danny Phantom (with scenarios such "teenage boy with super hero alterego", "secret kept from elders", two best friends who help him save the day", and "protecting the world from dark forces"). I also found it similar to Fairly Odd Parents with the "teacher obsessed with magical creatures" scenario (I wonder if these guys know Butch Hartman). True, there were quite a few episodes that didn't interest me, but I still watched the show. I must say, while season two did show more magic, there were certain qualities I preferred in season one (particularily, Jake's dragon form).

I recently saw what seems to be the series finale, and I found it somewhat interesting. Not to nitpick, but I was hoping more from a series finale. True, Johnathan learning the family secret, Rose recovering her memory, and the Dark Dragon being trapped in a vortex was epic, but the entire format of the episode seems more like a season finale than a series finale. Also, I was hoping there would be a climatic battle between Jake and the Dark Dragon similar to the final confrontation in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows. Furthermore, similar to how I preferred Jake's season one dragon form, I wasn't as fond of the Dark Dragon's season two form as I was his season one form.

I do hope they decide to make a third season. I want to see how Jake's father gets involved in the magical world (similar to how I want to see Danny Fenton's parents get involved in his ghost fighting). Also, I would like to learn more about the origins of the Huntsclan and the Dark Dragon. While it does seem like the Dark Dragon is gone forever (or at least for 1000 years, which ever comes first), there is a chance someone will take his place, at least I hope so. Last week, I wished the Danny Phantom fighters luck, this week I say the same to the American Dragon fighters. Fight hard, Am Drag fans, and there may be a chance that Jake and the crew will return. If it can happen for Kim Possible, there's a possibility that American Dragon can be saved to. Speaking of KP, her series is suppose to end next week (again) with a one-hour finale following a fifty-two hour marathon. Fret not, KP fans, hopefully Kim can be saved again. But I will save that for next week. Until then, adios!

Danny Phantom, You Will Be Missed.... Or Will You?

I'm sure many here are aware that a big moment just occured in television history. We have just witnessed what seems to be the end of Danny Phantom. To those who had tuned into Nick about an hour ago, I'm sure you saw what I saw. Here is a small recap: After Danny ruins his latest plan, Vlad decided to ruin Danny's reputation as a hero with his own team of ghost fighters. Frustrated, Danny got rid of his ghost powers. A massive asteroid was released during Danny and Vlad's lastest battle and was heading for Earth. Vlad revealed his ghost-half to the world and would save the world from the asteroid in exchange for total control of the planet. Needless to say, Vlad's plan failed and was abandoned in space by his former friend Jack. Danny came up with a plan of his own to turn the earth intangible with the aid of ghosts from the ghost zone. During an attack on him, Danny's ghost powers were restored. Danny convinced the ghosts to help and the world was saved. Danny revealed himself to the world and (unlike Vlad) was accepted. Tucker became the youngest mayor in Amity Park history (his first official act was to unveal a statue of Amity Parks hero, Danny), Vlad had to get use to living in space (when he was hit by the asteroid), and I'm sure you all saw that things finally clicked between Danny and Sam. I'm also sure that many of you believe this was a great end to the series, while others feel it wasn't grand enough, and more wish that the series wasn't done.

I would now like to give what some of you may considered an obituary. I remember seeing Danny four years ago, and I found it quite fascinating. True, there have been a few episodes that didn't catch my fancy (I'm not going to say which ones), still, I continued to watch the series. A few times, I decided to avoid the episodes, but I eventually found myself watching the show again. I must say I really enjoyed the third season the most, though I do think it was rushed due to Phantomania. It seems to be the end of an era. Now that the final movie has aired, I guess this is farewell to our favorite ghost boy....... or is it?

I know there are many fans out there trying to make sure Danny lives on. I'm sure I speak for DP fans everywhere when I say I wish you the best of luck. There is a chance that Danny can return, I've known many other shows to come back from the grave. Also, I'd like to say that many fans have faith in those fighters that they will succede in their goal. Once again, good luck and best wishes to the Danny Phantom fighters. Many fans are rooting for you and know you won't rest until their favorite ghost returns! LONG LIVE DANNY PHANTOM!!!

Next Week: My salute to American Dragon: Jake Long.

Woo-Hoo!!! I Saw It!!!

Today, I saw the Simpsons movie! When I saw the first preview a year ago, I got really excite, imagine the Simpsons on the silver screen! For a whole year (or longer) I waited, and my patience paid off when it finally came out to theaters. I was down that I couldn't see it on it's opening weekend, but my family said I would see it, saying Monday would be the best time. I don't recall the last time I looked forward to a Monday. When the big day came, I got up early (maybe because my mother woke me), I got ready. My brother, my cousin, and I then went up to the theater (my mother didn't want to go, sadly). I was really excited when I got into the theater. At first I thought we would be the only ones there (probably because we got there so early), but soon, more people filed into the theater. At first, I thought we were going to be ripped-off when the film when on the fritz for a few minutes, but we managed to see it (although the glitch cost us some previews). I must say, the movie was fantastic and I really enjoyed. True, it didn't go like I thought it would (that's what I get for falling for darn false plots), but I still thought it was good. I'm not going to say what happened and spoil it for fellow Simpson fans, but I'll tell you this, this is the Simpsons' biggest adventure yet (or is that obvious?) and I can't wait for the sequel (yes, another one is coming. I know).

Kim Possible
Graduation, Part 2
Avg Score: 9.61    Total Ratings: 89    Total Reviews: 12
I must say I find it hard to chose between this episode and So The Drama. Ron was really upset that aliens took his girl. Willing to do anything to save her, he teams up with a villain. I found Drakken's new powers interesting. Looks like he's a real super villain now. Hard to believe the blue guy finally won, and it happened when he was with the good guys. Ron really stepped up in this episode. Two aliens were threatening to harm the love of his life, so what does he do? He becomes the super being he was destined to be. Ron's not just a sidekick anymore, he's Kim's equal, her partner, in missions and in life. I did find the ending scene with Kim and Ron kissing very touching. Not as magical as the one in So The Drama, but still. This episode certainly left a few questions: Will Drakken and Shego remain villains or become heroes and will they form a relationship like Kim and Ron's? How will Drakken and Ron's new skills effect the series? And of course: What does the future hold for Kim and Ron. These questions need to be answered, so I for one hope that the FFKP succeeds in their goal. Don't count KP out yet folks!

Graduation, Part 1

I really enjoyed this episode. The part with Drakken becoming part flower was really amusing. What I really liked was that the episode focused on what would happen to Kim and Ron after graduation. It was about time that the writers put more emphasis on their relationship. And talk about interesting. Kim was trying to assure a worried Ron that graduation was nothing to be afraid of when in reality, she was just as scared about it as him. If they were both that concerned about their relationship, then they do belong together. The ending of this episode was really suspenseful. Going to To Be Continued after Kim made the last line.

I really enjoyed this episode. Before this episode aired, I made speculations that Kim would lose her memory (others thought it meant a villian would turn over a new leaf). When I first read the spoilers for this episode, I was surprised by how close I called it (part of me felt like gloating). For two weeks I waited for this episode, and when it aired, I wasn't disappointed. True, some parts didn't go like I thought they would (the scene during the ending credits could have been better), still, this episode was really enjoyable. There were a few things I would've done differently though. For one thing, I would've had Drakken strip Kim of her memories on purpose, showing how evil and clever he can really be. Second, I probably would've gone with Kim just losing her memories of events that occurred in season four, having her memories stop after season three (she'd still lose her memories of dating Ron, that's what really matters). Also, I would've thrown in a subplot involving Kim and Ron's anniversary and Kim worrying that Ron forgot about it (that would be a twist of irony). Don't get me wrong, the writers' ideas were good too, I'm just saying I would've used a few different plot devices if I was them. There were a lot of parts of this episode I really enjoyed. Ron trying to convince Kim they were dating throughout the episode was good (I thought that picture of them at the prom was cute, and Kim mentioning Ron's dream from Ill-Suited was funny), Kim continuously saying "Rockets are go!" was cute, Drakken's thing with those cards was pretty funny, and seeing the flashbacks of Ron losing his pants was hilarious too, but I have to say my favorite part was at the end when Kim said the "L" word to Ron (personally, I would've waited till the season/series finale for her to say it), and I'm sure many K/R shippers will agree with me. I'm also sure that many will agree with me in saying that scene was probably the best part of the ep. That scene reminded me of the final scene of So The Drama, because it made the whole episode worth watching. In my opinion, this is one of the best season four episodes yet.

Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide
Avg Score: 9.06    Total Ratings: 1879    Total Reviews: 295
The show tells about the adventures of a middle-schooler named Ned who made a guide to help people get through school unharmed. At his side were his friends Cookie the genius and Jennifer aka Moze (who could be more than a friend). The three friends faced daily troubles with bullies, teachers, homework, tardiness, social lifes, and other problems students normally deal with at school (as well as problems students normally don't deal with). Aiding the group was the lazy superintendent Gordie, who spent most of his time chasing a weasel that inhabited the school. For many years, Ned had a crush on a girl named Suzie Crabgrass. At the beginning of the last season in the series, Cookie developed a crush on Lisa (a geeky girl who underwent an extreme makeover) and spent most of the season trying to win her heart. At the sametime, Moze spent most of her time trying to find a soulmate of her own. In the finale of the series, Cookie won Lisa over, Ned and Moze finally discovered the true meaning of their relationship, and a secret was revealed about the weasel Gordie had chased for three years. Though the series has ended (unless fans protest) this show will live on for many years.

Rugrats
Avg Score: 8.55    Total Ratings: 1755    Total Reviews: 243
Rugrats is perhaps one of most famous shows to ever exist. The show tells about the misadventures of a group of toddlers. Tommy was the brave leader of the group, his best friend was the cowardly Chuckie, they were accompanied by the constantly bickering twins Phil and Lil. Angelica, Tommy's three-year old cousin, who usually enjoyed bullying the babies, was always seen with her doll Cynthia and her cat Fluffy. The group had a friend named Suzie who acted as a rival to Angelica. The group had a guardian in Spike, Tommy's loyal and playful dog. The group had a hero in the form of a giant lizard called Reptar. Among the adults of the show were Stu and Didi, Tommy's parents, Betty and Howard, the parents of Phil and Lil, Chas, Chuckie's widower father, Drew and Charolette, Angelica's parents, Boris and Minka, Tommy's jewish grandparents, and Grandpa Lou, who always fell asleep when he was in charge of watching the kids. About six years later, a group of new characters were added to the cast. The first new character was Dil, Tommy's little brother who appeared in the first Rugrats movie. Another addition came in the form of Lulu, Grandpa Lou's new wife. Two more members to join the Rugrats family were Kimi and Kira, Chuckie's new stepsister and stepmother who appeared when Chaz remarried in the second Rugrats movie. In addition, three more dogs joined the series, Fifi, Spike's love interest, and their two puppies Spiffy and Pepper. The final two characters to join the cast were Taffy, who served as the musical babysitter for the group, and Harold, a friend of Angelica's and Suzie's who joined the show when the two girls entered pre-school. Though I found some of the episodes silly, nasty, and uninteresting, Rugrats was one of my favorite shows. For over ten years, the Rugrats reigned as the most popular show on Nickelodeon. When SpongeBob SquarePants came into existence, it surpassed the Rugrats as the most popular nicktoon. Though their popularity has diminished, many fans still enjoy seeing the Rugrats and have petitioned to have the series continue. The legacy of the Rugrats lives on in the spin-offs Pre-School Daze and All Grown Up.
