today i was listening to my ipod in peace, when some kids came over and saw a linkin park song on there. only 1 f*cking song. it was in the end. well i got beat up pretty badly. a lot of people down here are prejudiced to everything except hip-hop. in the end is the only song i like that isn't hip-hop/rap, but i still got wasted!

i have bruises all over my arms. and one on my face. i had to make up a story for that. my mom narrowly bought it.

as he spoke, a stretcher came in and carried jouichi away. the only genin left in the room were the chunin exam finalists. everyone walked down to the center of the arena where orio was standing. "good luck" kageki sensei said to kakeru. "now," he said. "you all have proceeded to the final round," he said. that was when the hokage, lord konohamaru stepped forward. "congratulations" he adressed the nine of them. "you are the top 10 genin in the allaiance, congratulation" he said. there were cheers from the ninja behind him. all the finalists kept quiet. they were either too nervous or didn't care. "now," he said. "you are going to progress to the final round." orio stepped forward. he walked to the back of the room and picked up a basket. it had some paper in it. he looked through the papers and dropped some on the ground. then he walked to the front of the room and faced the genin.
"this basket, contains the numbers 1-9. now, i'm going to walk by, i want all of you to randomly pick out a number from the basket. kakeru was third from the left in the row, he was standing next to namito on his left and hido on his right. just standing next to the guy gave him shudders. hido was emotionless. orio walked down and kakeru picked out a number. he looked at it, it was #6. they kept going until everyone had a number, the basket was empty.

"okay, i want all of you to read out your number" orio said.

"1" dakate said.
"4" namito said.
"6" kakeru said.
"9" hido said.
"8" umito said.
"3" hanayo said.
"2" yoriko said.
"5" chuugo said.
"7" junsuke said.

"do you have that all down" orio asked to someone in the back. there was a ninja that kakeru just noticed drawing on a paper. then he said "done," and walked up. he gave it to orio. orio turned it around and showed it to everyone standing there. it was a bracket with their names on it.

1. dakate kaguya vs yoriko gin.
2. hanayo hizuka vs namito sun
3. chuugo hinutu vs kakeru hyuuga.
4. junsuke uchiha vs (umito ganjin vs hido genma)

the brackets were lined up in 5 matches. there were four normal matches. in the last match, umito and hido were facing off first, as an extra match, before the winner fought junsuke. "you will all compete in the final round" orio said. "just like the preliminaries, it will be one on one matches. there had to be an extra match i'm sorry. but you will keep on fighting until there is a winner."

"so there will be 1 chunin?" namito asked.
"wrong" orio said. "the more you fight, the more you can show your skills in combat to the judges. they have seen your other skills from the other exams and know how good you are. it's time to go all out. the advantage to winning is that you get more chances to show your skills" orio said. "that is basically how the finals work, these matches are too the death!"

'i'm up against the guy who defeated daigo' kakeru thought. 'how can i beat him, i can't get close enough to him to get through his chakra sheild'

'now is my chance to prove myself to lord sasuke' umito thought. 'first i have to get rid of this guy from the genma clan, he is one of the people lord sasuke wants to collect. if i kill him he won't need him though, i'll be proving my worth' umito smiled. 'if i beat him, i won't need to fight an extra match, i'll be able to go head to head with junsuke myself. he defeated shosuke, but i think i'll be able to take him. as for hido, however, i need to eliminate him now'

'this is the girl who humiliated fukiko and proved her a failure.' namito thought. 'i don't care if she's a lady, i'll show her no mercy for hurting fukiko like that'

'it'll be an easy first match' thought dakate. 'she's just a rookie, but maybe she'll have a trick up her sleeve. the next round probably won't be that hard to get around either. it's the final round. if uchiha or that rookie hido make it to the finals i'll be in for a match. they will probably be able to get past that sound nin and the guy who beat namuki. the fight between each other might be interesting though.' he looked down at hido. he was emotionless

'i get an extra match' hido thought. 'i get a little warm up and a meal before i get to eat uchiha's blood'

chuugo looked around. 'i wonder how many of us are going to become chunin.' he thought. i've seen this guy and his gentle fist attacks. he has a defense just like me. he expands his chakra in a rapid rotation movement that defelects attacks. my defense doesn't use nearly as much chakra.'

yoriko was also nervous like her teammate. 'hido should have no problem. but this is where the going gets tough for chuugo and i.' she thought. 'i'm up against a super powerful opponent. dakate kaguya is a legend in our village. the only one in this generation to posses the kaguya clan's kekkei genkai. not to mention he is really powerful. he might be able to stand up to hido. how in the world am i going to beat him?'

'this first match is a joke.' hanayo thought. 'this is the little punk that kept on cheering the one i just creamed' hanayo thought. 'no matter what, no rookie can defeat me. i don't even need to do anything. the rest i'm worried about' ***************************************

'i don't think this sound nin will be strong enough to defeat hido. so that means my first match is against him. i'll be ready to crush him, and i'm physched' junsuke thought.

after everyone had gotten a few minutes to examine the bracket, orio stepped back and lord konohamaru stepped forward. "this isn't just an ordinary achievement," he said. "as you know from the tension i can see, that this is the most difficult round. you are going up against the best" noone spoke. it was obvious.
"this round will start after a month" he said. there was shock from all the genin.
"why wait a month when i can eliminate everyone right now?" hido asked.
"because maybe you can't. i'm giving you this opportunity as custom, because you can use it to train, train as hard as you possibly can, because you'll need it. take some hard training until the last few days and rest before the exams." he said.

kakeru relaxed. it was exactly what he needed. maybe tadahiro could teach him some new moves. if he got past the first round he might have to go up against hido. plus he didn't think he could go on after all that work.
"the chunin exams are a huge event that is celebrated by the alliance, do you people know why they do this together?" lord konohamaru asked. "why?" namito asked.
"to maintain peace and balance" he said. there was another shock. "yes, all the ninja in the alliance, start out as genin, when the genin are good, they move on to the chunin exams. the chunin exams are to kill some ninja."
"that's crazy!" chuugo said.
"no it's true" konohamaru said. "the chunin exams are to eliminate ninja so that only the best move on. that way only the best ninja become chunin and eventually jonin so that all the countries have only the best serving them. it is a way to maintain power and balance at the same time."
"i get it now" kakeru said.
"there is another thing, this is a peaceful way of representing fighting" he said.
"WHAT!" most of the genin said. "i'm speaking the truth" lord konohamaru said. "you deserve to know after making it this far. instead of having a full scale battle between the jonin and chunin, we prefer to have it in the genin. it doesn't affect the villages that badly if the genin are finished off"
"that's crazy" chuugo said. "wouldn't it be better if the future generation didn't die"
"it's be even better if the future generation were educated, this teaches them about the world and the cruelty of war. it teaches the future leaders how to live life. the hard way"
"that's evil" namito said.
"it is the way of the world" lord konohamaru said. "now that you have learned something, keep it in mind. like i was saying, everyone will watch, a lot of people around the world and important people too will die for it. everyone else will be watching it on tv."
everyone tensed even more except hido, umito, and dakate. "i'm giving you a month, train hard" he said.

that was when everyone left behind they started for the tower door. kakeru was brought out. kageki sensei escorted him trough the forest to his house. everyone survived the forest. kakeru went to his home and slept.

"not many more resources" tadahiro said. watching the finalists from the roof of the tower. "only umito made it i know, he's useless to me. i guess i'll use him as a guinea pig to test out someone else's power. or rather, he'll do it himself" sasuke said.
"my lord," tadahiro said. "you took a particular interest in those with strong kekkei genkai"
"yes, although for a general army i like strong ninja, those with kekkei genkai are even better. the powers of kekkei genkai cannot be taught, unlike normal jutsu. you have to be born with it. "
"there is another way though isn't there" tadahiro said laughing.
"yes, orochimaru's life transfer jutsu resides in me alone" sasuke said. "i have refrained from using it and staying in my old body, for i would have lost the sharingan, because i thought i was the last person left after madara and itachi died. but i was wrong, finding madara's grandson, the rest of the leaf village resurected my glourios clan, it is small, but the sharingan is there" sasuke laughed. "i will save junsuke. now that have him, i can use the life transfer jutsu, eventually i'll have the sharingan again"
"my lord, there are also a lot of kekkei genkai out there right, the shikotsumyako is in kaguya dakate."
"yes, the last of that clan died bringing me to orochimaru for the first time when i was only 12 years old. recently they have been resurected. this rare kekkei genkai has been present in 7 since their resurection. only 3 are alive, kaguya kageki, kaguya seto, their current leader, and kaguya dakate, who is here."
"there is also the hyouton."
"hido genma has upgraded it to it's next form, the makyo hyouton. that would make an excellent body to use. that clan has been hidden until it reproduced recently. once again, i have that in my grasp"
"finally, you have the byakugan. the main branch has been crushed, only me and my brother are left. but there are a few members of the side branch alive"
"i would love the byakugan. but the side branch isn't as powerful are they. they rarely have a byakugan that flows strong. plus, being a main branch member, your brother could easily kill me if i entered a branch member's body using that seal you use, maybe i could use you"
"you're done with me already?" tadahiro asked.
"you'll be useful for quite a while yet, but i'd really like the byakugan."
"the only one left then, is kakeru, isn't there my lord" tadahiro said.
"you're brother will join me? has he you're jeans tadahiro?"
"his whole life i've given him power and training. he looks up to me." tadahiro went on.

"it shouldn't be too hard to get him to join you lord sasuke" he said

kankuro walked over. so did i. finally we were face to face outside the building. kiba ran over. so did a bunch of other people. "dude, i was kidding," kiba said. "let's get the hell out of here"
"a little too late isn't it" i said. i looked around. OMG. ino and sakura had stopped. some other people were coming over. this was my chance. sakura was going to think i'm so strong once i kicked this loser's ass.

"hey, you look at me when i'm talking to you. what do you want from me?" kankuro asked me. "i don't like the way your ugly facepaint streams down that disgrace of yours" i said to him. more people had came. "oooooooooohhhhhhhh" came the crowd. even more people were coming over. sheesh, you'd think they would have something better to do with their lives. i mean really.

"you're really asking for it punk!" he said. "you have no idea what you are getting yourself into" he said
"he's right" kiba said urgently. akamaru popped his head out of kiba's backpack and whined.
"i'll be fine" i replied. "why don't you try and hurt me!" i said to kankuro. "oooooohhhhhh" the crowd came again. kankuro pummeled his fist into my stomach before i even knew what was going on. it was suprisingly painful. i dropped to my knees. he gave me an uppercut with his right arm. i think i broke a bone from that. i looked at him. he drew back his fist and rushed it towards me. i then remembered that sakura was watching. i raised my left hand and caught the hand. everyone in the crowd gasped. there were a lot of people watching now. kankuro froze in shock. big mistake. i drew back my right hand and pummeled it into his stomach. he flew back and landed on his butt. we both got up. the crowd cheered.
"wow!" kiba said. i looked back. sakura was still watching with ino. i ran at kankuro again. i tried to swing at his head. he raised his left arm and pushed my fist away. he screamed and slammed his other fist square in my face. i flew back and landed on my back.
"sh1t" kiba said. "omg" haku said. i reached my hands back and i got to my feet. we walked back to the center. the crowd was cheering again. i tried to punch him and he brushed it away. he tried to hit me in the side of the head with a left hook. i ducked and pushed him back. then he raised his foot and twisted it. he kicked me on the ground. i had to stop falling, honestly, sakura was going to think i was a clutz. "a$$hole!" i shouted. the crowd errupted as i got up and ran again. kankuro tried to kick me and i jumped to the side. then i punched him in his ribs. he fell to the side and got on his knees and i brought my foot down, knocking him on his belly. "you can do it naruto uzamaki" lee said.
"for people like us" said itachi. the crowd was cheering. then all of a sudden i fell forward and i was on top of kankuro. from the ground he had shot forward, tackling me at my legs and shooting me down. he rolled from underneath me and he was on top of me.

"dude!" kiba yelled as kankuro brought his fist down right into my abdomen. some of the crowd cheered and some of them went "oooooooh"
"naruto no!" hinata's voice came from the crowd. kankuro brought his fist down again on my face and i think my nose broke. if not i could still feel blood tricking down. i thought of how bad i looked in front of sakura right now. i was getting blown to pieces. i raised both of my feet and launched him back. he went over the crowd and landed on his back.
"you survived!" temari said from the crowd. "go naruto!" came a cry from lee. i ran out and punched kankuro in the face knocking him down again from his knees. he did a front flip to get on his feet, sending me back and i knocked over some people in the crowd as i landed on my back. the crowd ran to circle us and kankuro tackled me again. i didn't think i had anything left. i drew back my fist. i started having a dream about how sakura thought i was so cool because i jacked up kankuro. then i hit him in the face so hard he flew off of me and hit some people in the crowd. i slowly got to my feet and kiba and temari ran out. they caught me.
"we're going home!" kiba said.
"why?"
"because" he said and they forced me out of there. i looked back and saw sakura and ino walking away laughing. at the same time there was a call.
"i ain't finishied with you yet!' came kankuro's voice. i was so tempted to go back, but i knew it was pointless, they were gone. i made my way home.

unawares to me, sakura and ino were talking. "losers," ino said. "what do you think they were fighting about"
"i don't know" sakura replied. "but it's so funny when they fight over us" and they both laughed and started to walk away. "still," ino said. "that one actually started a fight, and kept looking over at you, i have an idea" ino said, and she whispered it into sakura's ear. "sounds fun" sakura said evilly as they walked away.

that day kiba came over to my house. we did our homework in my room.
"what was that all about, i was kidding" kiba said.
"you retard look where it ended me up, i almost got killed. i don't know what sakura thinks of me now?" i said.
"i'm not sure, tomorrow you will find out" he said.

the next day i walked to school. i found out some things. my rep had changed. i was known to some people as the kid who kicked kankuro's ass. to some people i was the violent idiot. to some people i was the loser that started a fight and got jacked up. and some people, like gaara and the popular people, didn't care. i walked in and people started to talk to me. "how ya doing naruto, beat anyone up latley" someone said to me.
"shut up i said." they laughed. a couple freshman came up to me and started a fake fight. kiba slammed them both into a locker. i walked down the hall. there i saw sakura and ino talking. sasuke was near his locker talking to neji. that was when sakura came over to me. "hi naruto" she said to me.

i couldn't belive it, she was talking to me! "umm.... hi" i said. then they left. "that was odd" kiba said. "no, the fight worked!" i said. i went thorough my classes in a good mood.

it was lunch time. i was getting ready to sit down next to temari and haku. that's when i heard a call from ino. "hey naruto," she said. "wanna sit next to us" sakura was next to her. there was sasuke and neji there 2. i couldn't belive it, the popular kids were asking me to sit next to them.

holiday vacation is over. i'm back in school. so yes, i'm trapped in a classroom again. right now i'm in spanish.

when the dust cloud cleared, the scene that kakeru was expecting was not there. instead there was a pool of water surrounded by a bunch of clones.
"what's he playing at now?" kakeru asked.
"hido must have cushioned the fall by turning into water" kageki sensei said.
"well it's unfortunate, but that attack did not finish him off after all" insa-sensei said. then he smiled.
"why are you so happy insa-sensei?" hanayo asked him.
"just watch fool" he said.

suddenly icicles darted out of the pool and popped all the shadow clones, then came back to the pool and turned into water. the water rose and morphed into hido's body.
hido growled. "you're really pissing me off" he said. hido's chakra began to seep down from under his legs. "is he putting chakra into the ground?" kakeru said. "or at his feet?"
"we'll know in a moment kageki sensei said"

all the normal clones popped and the real hido remained in the circle. "unbelivable, you survived that jutsu!" he said. "now you're going to get it" hido said.

"that was unbelievable" yoriko said. "but that kid just ticked hido off"
"he's good, but not good enough" chuugo said. "wait hold on" he said.

hido began to grab his arm. "looks like he did more damage to hido than hido thought" insa-sensei said.
"man, i'm glad i didn't have to go up against that" kakeru said.
"you sure are" kageki sensei said.

hido grabbed his other arm, and then he screamed out into the air. then his feet began to glow even more. hido raised his hands into the air and chakra seeped out. quickly 10 icicles came out. he started to shoot them. jouichi started to dodge them all over the place.
"shadow clone jutsu" jouichi said. he created a bunch of shadow clones. the clones ran out at hido hido popped them all with shadow clones. soon the chakra flow absorbed hido's entire shoe and part of his legs.

"what's with all that chakra?" kakeru asked.
"he's trying to do something" kageki said.

jouichi dodged them all and created more clones. they rushed in at hido. hido turned to water to take all the hits and defeated all the clones with an ice kunai he made from the air. then he threw it at jouichi who took out a kunai to deflect it. jouichi looked up at insa-sensei. '''''''''''''''''''''FLASHBACK''''''''''''''''''''''''

jouichi was standing in a feild. insa-sensei was there with him. "insa-sensei, i have never used the clone dance on anyone= like you asked, i feel so useless though"
"it is for emergencies only, as long as you yourself know you're own strength, you'll feel good" he said.
"but what about these chunin exams. they are coming up in a month. i heard there will be one from the uchiha clan that is coming, how about him, how do i defeat him?"
"listen, that is when"
"but i don't even know the power of this attack"
"use it jouichi, that is how you grow strong as a ninja" "but-"
"fine" insa-sensei said.
"what?" jouichi asked.
"fool, i taught you my favorite move growing up, now i'ma teach you my ultimate move, it's called the fire dome!" "the fire dome" "will you risk your life to learn this jutsu, you may die trying to master it" he said.
"i will" jouichi said.

"you almost died" insa-sensei said. "you're willpower is the only thing that got you through, but eventually you have mastered it"
"yes, sensei, how strong is this jutsu!?" jouichi asked.
"it will defeat the most powerful of all opponents" insa-sensei said.
"are you sure sensei?" he asked.
"trust me"

jouichi looked up. 'sensei, can i use it' jouichi thought. as if reading his mind, insa-sensei nodded his head. jouichi smiled and cheered, then faced hido.

"what was that all about?" kageki asked insa
"you'll see" he said.
"you didn't teach him that, did you?" he asked.
"why wouldn't i?" insa-sensei said, and laughed. "you're about to see some major pwnage!!!!!!"

'it is all i have left' jouichi said. he did a hand sign. mutiple clones came out and surrounded hido again. all of them had 2 kunai in hand. there were two rows again.

"he's going to use that clone dance again?" namito asked.
"it looks like it, though knowing insa, probably not" obito sensei said.
"this guy is a lot stronger than i thought" junsuke said.

"that isn't going to work twice" yoriko said. "hido has probably already started to lose control"
"all ready?" chuugo asked. "then everyone in this room is in deep trouble"
"let's hope this kid isn't strong enough to drive it" yoriko said.

"trying that again?" hido said. "even better jouichi said" "fire dome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he yelled out. the two rows closed in on each other. then they started to spin super fast until they were a blur. there was a mass of sparks coming from inbetween them from the kunai scraping.

"hmm.. hmm.. hmmm" insa laughed.
"you're an idiot!" kageki shouted.
"you don't know how much this means to him, so shut up"
"he could die"
"perhaps, but at least he's going to win this match"
kakeru was in shock.

suddenly the sparks errupted into a dome of fire. they rose up through the circle and surrounded hido. noone could see him under the dome of fire.

"wow" kakeru said.

"he's seriously wack" yoriko said.
"i hope hido finds an easy way out." chuugo said.

inside the dome hido got low and started to pour chakra into the ground again, this time with his hands and feet. "that won't do you any good, whatever it is, because i'm about to win this" came a loud cry. then hido turned to water as a bunch of kunai came in low. then the fire fell down on hido from above. it blasted on the water and stopped. the water turned back into hido. he was hurt and spit out blood, but noone could see it but jouichi. "damn fire!" he shouted. everyone heard that.

"like i said" kageki sensei said. "water is water" "i told you" insa said
"you're so irresponsible" kageki said. insa just laughed. "jealous that both of my students are in"
"one of yours quit so don't talk" kageki said. insa frowned.

hido got his arms down and started pouring more chakra in. 'i'm almost burned to hell, i can't take another one of these!' hido though. that was when the fire came crashing down again. "now!" hido said.

an unbeliveable thing happened. the whole arena turned to water. everyone could see that. hido melted into it and rushed away. the clones collapsed along with all the fire and orio, who said.
"wtf?" then spikes of ice twisted from the ground, popping all of the clones, all of them were shadow clones, except one, who was pierced through the arm. then a part of the ocean rose up and froze. it was a giant ice goblet in the middle of the arena. the top of the goblet was level with the balcony. in the goblet bowl area was hido, jouichi, and some water. "he's begun!" yoriko shrieked. "there is no way the normal hido has that much chakra"
"if it comes to it, i'll have to step in" their sensei said. "i'm not sure you alone can stop it sensei" chuugo said.

hido jumped on top and all the ice froze. "cocktail heaven" he said. jouichi started to scream out and coughed out blood.

"ninja art, balling!" insa-sensei said. he did a hand sign, and shot, like a basketball, a ball of fire, which broke open the ice. hido collapsed into the water. jouichi was a bloody mess. "ah this is useless" hido said. he turned into water and fell on the arena. then orio popped up and the goblet collapsed, then the whole thing turned back into the arena. hido laid back and jouichi was there unconcious. insa-sensei ran down there. "by default, the winner of this match, is hido genma" orio said. hido walked away from everyone. as he walked junsuke looked at him. 'i want to fight this guy' he thought. hido returned.

"you idiot, you almost transformed" his sensei said.
"sorry sensei" hido said. "but this guy demanded it"

medical nin rushed in and put jouchi on a strecher. "his whole body is messed up" they said. "he'll be lucky to be alive, let alone a ninja" and they rushed him out. insa-sensei just stood there in shock. than he began to cry to himself. he walked up to the balcony again. "jouichi" hanayo said. "you wanted to beat me so badly you did all this?"
"listen" kageki said as he walked up. "this kid of yours is great, i'm sorry about..."
"no" insa interuppted. "you were right, i shouldn't have taught him that jutsu, it almost killed him" " it wasn't that.."
"if he hadn't done it, maybe he could have dodged the swimming pool" insa said. "oh well, it's in the past homie" everyone was sad.

orio spoke then. "now then, the preliminaries are over, all the finalists, please come down here, for instructions for the final round!"
