    • Is It Possible I'm Bitter?

      I wasn't at all satisfied with the way Alias ended, and wasn't particularly happy about the reappearance of Anna Espinosa. Not a happy Vanessa over here.Sorry I've been gone for a while, my life has been one massive party this year. I completed my real estate internship so now I can handle clients on my own (scary.     • Bringing Out the Santa Suit

      I went shopping yesterday in my lunch hour as I am scheduled to be at some la-dee-dah boring dinner my boss is throwing tonight. And to my surprise, I'm in a dress shop and I see a Santa walking down the street outside.So I left the shop and followed "Santa" (because I'm weird like that ... but I wasn't stalking him, honest) a little bit down the street and saw him go into a candyshop. Turns out that Moira's Candy has got in their Christmas Chocolate a month too late and are going madcrazy advertising it. I bought 10 special Christmas candy baskets and I must say, it was very nice.My advice to you all, if you ever land in Austin, check out Moira's Candy for all your Christmas confectionary needs.     • Rent

      I saw Rent today and really liked it. (Full disclosure: I've never seen the stage version.) I understand that the movie features the original Broadway cast, but does anyone know if there were any exceptions to that -- if any of the original Broadway cast members were not in the movie, and if not, why?
