    The Bottom Line: "Fair"

The storyline for this episode, while nowhere near my favorite, is okay. Despite that I dislike the script, the rest of it proves to be well done. I kind of find a large chunk of this episode (specifically the whole Indy chasing Princess Sophie around at midnight, without his parents knowing, and doing so succesfully), silly out of character, and certainly unrealistic. It starts off solid enough, script and all, but just starts to tumble dramatically downhill after that. Usually the historical characters in episodes are portrayed correctly, but somehow i doubt people like Franz Ferdinand, or Sophie's nanny would tolerate Indy's personality whatsoever. I started cracking up at how dumb it was when Indy asked Sophie to marry him. I do have to admit, however, that his meeting with Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, and the other psychologist was pretty fun.
Overall, this episode was mediocre, without much adventure in it, just as the episodes second half.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

This episode, which is suposedly the 2nd, going by chronological order, tells the tale of Indy meeting the old president, Theodore Roosevelt, while his father is on tour with his book. It is a weel written encounter, and shows what would probably happen if Indy was real, and did meet Roosevelt at the age of 9 or 10.
The episode features Roosevelt on one of his post president hunting expeditions, this one in Kenya, Africa. The gist of the episode has Indy meeting both the president, and befriending an African boy. In it, it is shown that Indy started taking T.E. Lawrence's advice from Curse of the Jackal, and has started to learn different languages. It also shows him utilizing some skills he uses later in his life as an archaeologist. By the end of the episode, he is able to, with the help of his new friend, find a rare animal Roosevelt was hunting for, and then prevent him from kiiling to many of the endangered species, after showing Roosevelt where to find the creature. Like I said, while not the best episode, and while it continues Indy's knack of getting lost far too much, it is well written, and very much enjoyable.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Exodus part 1, although slightly worse than it's second part, is one of the best episodes this show has to offer. It begins with Splinter having a vision of his master, Master Yoshi, showing him that the time has come for the final battle with the Shredder. Cleverly made vague and brilliant, this scene proves as a good beggining to the episode.
As it furthers, the turtles and Splinter gather Casey, April, Fugitoid, and Leatherhead to break in to Oroku Sakai's going away party, aiming to prevent him from having his revenge on the Utroms. Soon Agwent Bishop and Stockman get involved, trying to take his spaceship to study it.
The result is great action scenes, dialogue, and plot. This episode is truly a good beggining for the turtl;es final battle with the Oroku Sakai-Shredder.
