This was one of those episodes that had to be done. What do you do when someone who's supposed to be on your side goes overboard? What do you do when the evil you hunt turns out to not be so evil after all?

Seeing Amber was a welcome surprise - I like her work and I thought she was riviting as a vampress trying to survive. I also loved the officer that the Winchesters were interviewing at the beginning of the show - "Because that's what gravity does." I about fell off my chair laughing.

Another thing that happened in this episode which I liked was the element that I always will associate with the movie Sneakers - how Sam was able to figure out where he'd been taken based on the turns and the sounds.
