- my story:
- I'm actually a girl, a bit of a geek at times, enjoying comic books and video games to some degree. I watch a lot of medical stuff (not those sappy dramas, interesting shows like House or real shows like Medical Incredible). I used to like superhero shows, but that interest is dwindling. Now I watch a lot of comedy, anything that's witty and provokes thought rather than mindless and sarcastic jokes. I also love improv, like Wild n' Out. I also watch some scifi when it isn't too strange and a lot of music related channels (Mtv, BET, Mtv2, MtvJams). The two things on tv I can't stand are soap operas and newer animation. Those older animated shows were wonderful. But any children's animated series that premiered after 2002 is basically crap, although some are pretty good like Ben 10 and one other show who's name escapes me. Oh, and reality tv. That is so old in my book. The "celeb reality" thing that Vh1 started capitalizing on did not revitalize the genre for me. I also have a mild dislike for anime, but since anime contains many different genres, I can't say that I hate it all.
